Thank you. It's actually a picture of me from a bellydance convention in my area. We did pictures right before we went onstage.

I saw on another thread that you are a fellow bellydancer! Do you do troupe or solo? I miss dancing with a troupe, but I don't have time with my school schedule.

I'm with you! I will work diligently to convince myself that I can run a 5K. I have always had great suspension of disbelief!

I've been in the 190s since spring, I think. I got down to 190 but then spent the summer drinking, bbqing, and dinning out so I went back up to the high 190s. I finally just got back down to 190 for Halloween. I weighed myself yesterday but I was stuck at 190.2...

Ohmanda, you have some great progress already, and I'll bet you'll be out of the 190's in no time

Today I'm one step closer to the 180's as I weighed in at 192.2 this morning. I've been 193.1 for about 10 days now so it was a really nice surprise

Hey, now I can join this thread!

I'm at 198.5 at the moment, but I don't want to stay here for long! When (not if) I get down to the 180's I'll be where I was back in high school 4 years ago!

Hmm where can I find them? Does like Target have them? I won't be wearing something super baggy.

The doctor said that she would give me 1 month to get my BP down. WHOO HOO. Now it's on like donkey kong. How is everyone else doing?

paradoxx - yay!!! we can totally do it.

lackie - target probably has yoga pants, but my favorites are from Old Navy. They're SO comfy - you'll end up wanting to live in them. They're addictive.

Paradoxx- I just take classes when I get the chance. I've been doing it off and on for 9 years, since I was about 14, but I've never aspired to the point of performing solo or in a troupe. Haha... it comes in phases for me, though I've been enjoying it a lot more the past few months again. What style do you dance? I'm taking a class right now that is like an Egyptian-Cabaret combo, but usually I've just done Egyptian.

Mikayla - Congrats on getting to onderland!!! You've come a long way - I'm impressed!

Everlasting and Paradoxx - okay, so about bellydancing...do you have to have a little tummy to do it? Is it good exercise? Explain

Lackie- You should try and take a class somewhere first to start, at least to learn the basic technique and make sure you're doing everything the right way. And you have to build up to do all that shimmy! It takes shimmy power!

I weighed this mornin', and I'm 194! Very excited! Plus, that means I've already lost 4 pounds since Saturday!! It's been a good week so far.
