Meredith!! So glad you're back!!! I'm even more glad you've gotten yourself to a happy and content place not only with your weight but in general! And you still look phenomenal! I'm very glad we will have your smiling face around these parts again!

Meredith! You just reminded me what a terrible person I am.. I made a whole thread for getting you to cojme back, and when I hit maintenance, I kind of left too. I got busy with school and just got out of the habit of coming here, I think. BUt I didn't keep my promise. I promised to post a goal story and I haven't yet. You haven't either, have you? I think we should make a pact that the both of us will write our goal stories ASAP and post them!
As for me (I haven't been here in like 2 months eeeeep), I'm maintaining around 150, haven't relapsed weight-wise yet. I have had times where I Eat badly for a few days, but I know that I always have the power and it's my decision to be healthy. THrough weighing myself almost every day, I've been able to keep my weight stable at around 150. I've only been maintaining for 3 months now though. It's DEFINITELY harder than losing, but I feel so fortunate to be in the position to be able to maintain, and to actually have lost weight, to really have done it.
I'm glad you're doing well, Meredith. A part of me feared you left because you had gained all your weight back and were afraid to face us. But that was while I was st ill losing. Once I got to maintenance, I understood how it can be easy to just get out of the habit of not coming here. But that's not good! I should be posting in the maintainer's forum too! You've inspired me... it's time I come back. I've nothing to hide after all.. I'm still maintaining.. and I REALLY need to post my goal story... (YOU TOO!)... so nice to see you chickie, though you probably barely remember me because by the time I joined, you were practically done losing already! But you were always very inspirational to me, which is why I kept asking about you. Your pictures really inspired me during my weight loss journey. I'm glad you're doing well.
How's school and everything? And weren't you 5'8" before? Now you're 5'9"? I'm so confused. LOL

megwini - Hugs hugs hugs to you for your persistence in getting me to come back! If I had just logged on as normal without anything out of the ordinary waiting for me, I probably wouldn't have thought twice about posting again because I wouldn't have thought y'all would remember me.

But anyways, I can so relate to what you've said about maintaining--it is hard, and I am so proud of you for holding strong at it for three months new! Yea!

It means so much to me that my pictures can actually serve as inspiration to someone else on this journey, so thanks for paying me such a huge compliment in saying that. You and I definitely have to start tearing up the maintainers board and post our goal stories! I don't even know where to begin with that, LOL. Oh, and good eye--I went to the doctor's over the Summer, and it turns out I actually am 5'9", not 5'8" as I had previously thought... This and an increased amount of knowledge about my frame size definitely would have been useful to know when I was choosing my goal weight, heh, but I've learned my lesson now.

junebug41 - Hey girl, thank you! It's so good to be back, heh. Man, your pictures are still every bit as inspiring as they were to me when I first joined 3FC... You're at 5 years of maintenance now, right? Amazing! I can't wait until I've racked up a few more years of it too. I'll be seeing you around!

PammyFL - YAY, I'm so glad to see that you're still around, too! I remember seeing your pictures and always thinking that you are *so* gorgeous, and your latest round of pics are absolutely stunning! I mean we're talkin' total knockout material here, LOL. Thanks for the warm welcome.

HeatherMcG - Ooooh, you were in my neck of the woods? It's so funny, this city (and my school!) has *totally* become my "happy place"... Going back to my hometown for holidays n' such always leaves me feeling incredibly stressed out, but then on the rides back home to Chicago, I swear I can literally feel my heart growing lighter and lighter. It makes me feel very lucky! But I am glad that you didn't have to send out a search party, LOL. Here I am!

Iconised Ghost - Nooooo you don't have to miss me anymore, I'm right here!! Hehehe, I've missed you too! And wow, that's a lot of hugs! I'm going to have to save some of them for later, to cheer me up in those moments when I'm feeling crappy.

Ohmigod, you're aliiiiive, it's a miracle!

I remember being around when this thread first started, and thinking, "She's fallen off a cliff somewhere... our attempts are hopeless!"

I'm so happy to see you back! Sorry about the summer you had... sometimes a major change in routine can really be enough to throw you off. I'm so proud that you didn't let yourself totally fall apart, though, and you look absolutely amazing.

I tend to disappear for ages, and then show back up randomly when I need support, or need to celebrate, so I can't say much, but... don't disappear for so long again!!!!
