Default my first 5k race

Today I ran my first 5k race. My time was 39 min and I'm so proud of myself!!!

I never thought that I could ever do it. And I beat a lot of skinny people!!

I just wanted to share my victory with you all!!

Good for you, congrats! I'm looking to do my first race as well, be it a 5k or a 10k, I'm not too sure yet.

Here's to more races, cheers!

Thats awesome!! I actually just saw your status on FaceBook and am so proud of you lady!

That's my ultimate goal, though. To be able to run a 5k by this summer sometime. I want to run in Race for the Cure in October and blow the pants off of everyone with my time! LoL

Goodness! You are an inspiration - I'm training to run my first 5k in September and still have a long ways to go. Congratulations on such a huge accomplishment!

Did you do any training for it? I'm always interested to hear how others began running. Way to go!!!!
