So after realizing that my legs seem to be getting more fit, I think that I'm losing inches, but I haven't been measuring. I have to get my fiance to start measuring me....

Hello my lovelies!!!!

So amazingly I managed to lose 3 lbs this week, although I am partially chalking that up to being dehydrated because I've come down with some nasty cold.

I feel like poop but I don't want to miss any more work because I missed 3 days due to my car wreck and then I was out the following Friday and Monday because of my trip to Atlanta. I had already planned that so it was approved, but I just feel like it's a lot of work. I would really love to be at home sleeping though!!!!

I hope everyone is doing well. I still need to plan, plan, plan. I don't know why this seems to be such a big deal here recently.

I think I need a texing buddy again. Any volunteers? Shoot me a PM.

HAVE A FABULOUS DAY!

Thanks Cake! I'm so proud of your running BTW! You're doing so great!

Peatrix- don't beat yourself up over it too much! I know what you mean about the backwards progress though... story of my life in 09 so far! Just gotta keep picking ourselves back up and giving it our all, right?!

Bliss- my leader won't let us use the word "only" when describing a loss. You still made progress in the right direction. Even on Biggest Loser there are weeks when everyone stalls/gains... maybe you'll see a huge loss this week to make up for it!

I went way too long without eating yesterday and ended up having a ginormous chicken burrito for dinner. And a few sips of DF's regular Coke. I need to make a point of having a little snack when I know it'll be a long time before I can get a meal in. When I wait so long I get super hungry and lose focus of my healthy goals!

Blissclaire~ Sorry to hear about your fiancé! I feel you on the small losses, just remember, at some point you will see a great loss. Definitely start measuring inches!

Bee20nine~ Have you tried limiting how many snacks you actually keep in the drawer? Maybe that would help.

Peatrix~ So you slipped up and feel guilty, use that to help keep you more accountable this week. Just remember, we all slip up and the biggest thing is being able to recognize that. You’ve done amazing and have lost a considerable amount since January! Keep your head up!

Whiskey
~ Sorry to hear about your plans for Philly, hopefully you find something else fun to do! Hopefully your day goes better today!!!

Feral
~ Congrats on the loss! Sounds like your stress level is up there right now…

Petunia418
~ Burrito sounds really good… Now I want a burrito…

On a whim I measured inches this morning and discovered that I have lost 2 inches off my waist since the beginning of this month!!! I also got my last week 3 C25K run in yesterday and was totally pumped during the whole thing… I even felt like I had an extra bounce in my step!!! Might I add that it was only 22 out yesterday and probably in the teens with the windchill…

Haha sorry Kim!

Makes me think of that scene in Anchorman when Ron Burgundy is eating a burrito in the car:

"Oh Baxter... this burrito is delicious but BOY is it filling!!!!" and then he chucks it out the window! Hehe!

Petunia~ I really do want a burrito now...

CakeBatter~ How'd you work around the refrigerator prob?

So I'm pumped over a mini accomplishment I just had... so I had to get back on and brag for a sec... I resisted the danish!!! I know it sounds so trivial, but it is the first time I have turned my kids down this year for whatever evil treat they had to offer! I actually thought of the 2 inches I have lost off my waist in just one month, and thought about how proud that made me and how mad I would be if I gave in and had a danish...

One choice at a time... one choice at a time...

Kim - you are awesome. Well I did okay yesterday. I brought a cooler and put what I could in there and then some fresh stuff. I have been keeping my fruit in my car...yeah I know but it is cold enough out there for it. And I basically cooked all the meat we had and cause it will last longer that way!

One choice at a time...yeah I like that.

Does anyone ever track calories?

I signed up for a fitday.com account and apparently I will lose 1.75 lbs. a week by eating 1700 calories. This seems like so much more than 24 WW points. Ugh! I'm thinking about giving the calorie counting a try... hmm!

Petunia~ I lost 20lbs. last year by calorie counting, but got sick of having to look up everythings calories. Try it, see if you like it better or not. I prefer WW because I find the books more user friendly than calorie books.

Did I mention that I love roasted red pepper hummus and the fact that it has such a strong taste that I don't even use one serving with my one serving of pretzels? mmmmmmmm yummy....

I have way too much energy right now and keep getting funny looks from my kids as I do calf raises around the room...

Thanks Kim! I'll do that... and YUM hummus! I'm going to make a batch up this week with lots of lemon (the best!). If you ever go to Trader Joe's, they have an AMAZING edamame hummus (it's green) that is very flavorful!

I know this sounds silly, but to make your own hummus, don't you just smash up some chickpeas? If so, I have a can in my pantry that needs to get used and I just might make some with the edamame that I had last night with dinner... That would be YUM
