My bf's mom keeps a whole basket of different kinds of granola, fruit bars etc in her kitchen. I have tried them and they are good. Funniest thing ever happened one time though, my bf's dad ate one, one time and didnt know what they were, he said to my bf's mom " OMG I had the craps all damn day cause of that stupid bar." I was sitting on the couch and about rolled in the floor laughing.

I don't do the bars but I find that supplementing extra fiber does make one gasseous.

I am addicted. We buy the big bulk boxes from Sams and I would eat 20 a day if I weren't working on my willpower, LOL. I have to restrict myself to one. And yes, they keep you regular, but I get between 25-30 grams of fiber every day between supplements, high fiber bread, wasa crackers, and lots of fruit and veggies. So...the fiber one bars just give me a little extra um..."kick".

I love those things. When I first started getting them I couldn't eat more than one per day, but now they don't bother me. I like both the choc/oats and the apple. Yummy! I get the giant pack at Costco too, so they're way cheaper than those tiny boxes at the grocery store.

I ate one yesterday and it wasn't AS bad, still bad, but not near as bad as when I ate 2 within like 14 hours of each other.
I went to work today.... and left without bringing my lunch box, which had my evening snacks because I have class tonight from 6:30-9:30. I'm hoping since it's the first class it won't be AS long.
Luckily... I have my trusty fiber one bar in my purse and a bottle of water. I'm thinking if I eat it RIGHT before I go into class I should be okay. Let's hope so. LOL.

HAHAH You'll be happy to know that last night was not NEARLY as bad as the last 2 days. I think my body may be getting adjusted or it might be that I went a little longer "between" bars.
Arts -- I would've been laughing for the same amount of time too! WOW! I mean, I know those things are yummy but they're called FIBER one bars for a reason!

I'm not sure if i've ever tried the fibre one bars however I LOVE the Curves granola bars! I pay 2.99 for a box of 7. They're 100 calories and 4gms of fibre. The peanut chocolate chip ones are my fave!

cakebatter -- i promise you that after ONE TIME of eating more than one you will never make that mistake again. It takes a little while for your body to get used to them (I was SO farty at the beginning), but I think it makes digestion feel better in the long run. They've gotten so expensive here that I don't get them anymore, but I miss them!
