HI EVERYONE! I'm new to the forum, just wanted to check in with the rest of the 20-somethings

Hobbies/Interests: I've been acting my whole life, and it's simultaneously the most fun thing ever and my job. I just wish I could get the big roles and make some $$ so I can stop waiting tables. Someday... I also love to scrapbook!

Starting Date of Weightloss Journey: Well, I officially started exercising and cal counting Nov 16th, but I have been watching my crap intake since August-ish.
Starting Weight: 173 in August
Present Weight: 166
Goal Weight: 130-135
Biggest hurdle to overcome in weightloss: Snacking! I will skip meals all day in order to finish off a bag of salt and vinegar potato chips and 2-3 beers. Ugh
Following any specific plan: I'm counting cals (1200-1500 cals/day) and I am currently eating mostly lean protein and fruits and veggies.
What is different this time in your weight loss efforts than in the past: I am not sure why, but I have just come to a breaking point. I am fed up with being uncomfortable in my own skin! And, I feel that if I can change this aspect of my life, there isn't anything I can't do, which is motivation in itself.. Plus, I have an online support group!
