Default Small splurge....hot cocoa

I am sitting her tonight feeling like utter crap. My sinus infection has risen from the dead I think. My head might explode before I can get to the doctor on Monday if it is anything like the one I had a week ago.

So I go in the kitchen and find something warm to drink and because I am picky it takes awhile. I stumble upon some butterfinger candy bar hot cocoa. I figure it will do, I warm up some water and warm up some 2% milk and OMG the goodness is overwhelming. I am much happier now and feeling a little better.

Swiss Miss makes a 25 calorie diet hot cocoa...I actually really like it. It's sweetened with Splenda. Fixes up a chocolate craving, for sure.

That Butterfinger one sounds DELICIOUS.

And if you like mint chocolate, try adding some peppermint extract to your cocoa. Yummy

I make mine with no sweetener at all. Not an option for people who don't like bitter chocolate, but I find it yummy:

- I take a 1/4 cup of skim milk,
- mix in 1 tbs cocoa powder,
- add some vanilla or almond extract,
- and stir in boiling water.

Yummy :-)
