I'm having trouble with my bras--I am buying one a month! And nursing bras aren't cheap, either. I just bought a new one and I'm on the smallest setting. I guess it is a silly thing to complain about since I'm obviously losing but I can't go without a proper fitting nursing bra, and they cost so much money.

I have trouble with bra's too... my old ones are poking in my armpits (nasty feeling btw) but my smaller ones don't fit yet. I'll go underwear-shopping from my birthday money methinks. I'm caught between wanting my breasts to go smaller and not... not because I like their size (and guys like it too) and I do because there is a certain dress I'd like to wear for Christmas, and it's mainly too small in the breast area.

I'm with borntofly, Ebay is the answer. Sell the clothes you have barley worn and buy new one on the cheap. I recently got two pairs of jeans for less then the price to ship them.

I lost the first 20 quickly now it's SOOO SLOW going, so I'm in a pretty good spot as far as clothes and I've really only dropped one size so things that were snug before fit a little loose now so are still wearable. I will keep an eye on this thread though because i hope to be having the same issue soon!!

I totally second the e-bay thing. I buy and sell on there all the time! i used to sell a bunch of stuff for my friends too and they would give me some of the money for it. I buy my son a ton of stuff on there because I am broke and I want himt to look nice.(without paying full price) for myself I just wait until target has like 75% off on a lot of there clothes and buy them then. For now though I have a ton of clothes that are only one size away that would fit me. But in the end I am definitely goign to have to go on a huge shopping spree!!(hopefully I make it there by next summer) Good luck to you on your shopping adventures

I have to try things on, there is no way I could shop on ebay for clothes. I find too many brands are inconsistent in their sizing, so trying it on in the store and buying on ebay wouldn't work. I do love ebay for other things though.

I do a lot of buying on Ebay or Goodwill. I also have had a few people give me their old clothes as they are a bit ahead of me on weight loss.

Its too bad we couldnt all just have a clothes swap....imagine if everyone from this site met up somewhere with all our old clothes! I would be awsome to do a huge swap like that.

Ebay is great for barely worn stuff, especially if it's name brand. My boyfriend sold a couple very used pairs of Guess jeans for over $50!

Just a warning about places like Buffalo Exchange--they don't seem to stock much over size 12 or 14. I think I've seen a handful of 16s and nothing higher. I love me some Buffalo Exchange but their selection is definitely on the smaller side.

What I do a lot if your not sure what size and stuff is try everything on in the actual store and then find it on E-bay for cheap!! It's GREAT!! If I dont know if it will fit I obviously wouldn't bid on it.

Thanks for all the great advice! I'll definitely be hitting up the thrift stores and sales soon. I may even venture into selling some of the old things on ebay.

I've also been finding great deals at Old Navy recently, especially since they have all their summer stuff on clearance, and it's still pretty warm down here.

Sales!! I can always find t-shirts for 4-5 bucks! We have different stores here in Canada so I'm pretty sure if I rattled off store names you likely don't have them. However, if you can find a Smart Set - hit them up, they have the BEST sales!!
