Unhappy Bummed I can't do cardio :(

As I posted in my other thread, I have 5 stitches on my foot after a mishap at a night club in Las Vegas where a girl with stiletto heels stepped on my foot on the dance floor.

Well now I cannot do my routine at the gym for cardio. I am itching to get back to it but its just not possible for maybe a couple of weeks! Can't do treadmill, eliptical or bicycle.

Does anyone have any other suggestions on how I can work out and burn as much calories without using my feet?! If its even possible. I will be doing uppper body weight lifting but that only burns so many calories.

I know this sounds lame, but can you lay on your back and do scissor kicks or move your legs in that air as if you were cycling??

I will have to give that a shot! I didn't think of that, I'm sure that is not as easy as it sounds.

Thanx for the hug! I wish i could swim but I don't think that being submerged in water for a while is good for healing of the stitches, chlorine too.

She apologized but kicking her was far from my mind b/c of the amount of pain I was in at the time. Looking back at things, yes, I could kick her now! LOL

My gym has an arm ergometer (like a bike for your arms....you sit and pedal your arms) I tried it once for fun and if the resistance is high enough you get a good cardio workout.
