It's that time again... Everybody JOIN in on another monthly challenge we all so grown to love! Keep it up and look & feel great!

You can join in at ANY time.

I'm in! I'm going to stick with the same goal at this point... average of 40 minutes a day combined cardio and strength training - so that's 1200 minutes total. I'd like to shoot for more time spent strength training - 3 sessions per week.

April 1 - 45 minutes - 10 elliptical warmup, 35 treadmill C25K W4D2
April 2 - 50 minutes - 30 elliptical, 20 weights
April 3 - 45 minutes - 15 elliptical, 30 treadmill C25K W4D3
April 4 - 45 minutes - 25 treadmill, 20 weights - I hate being sick!
April 5 - 30 minutes - 30 treadmill C25K W5D1

April 6 - nothing formal, just chasing dogs and sheep for a couple of hours. I love herding ;-)
April 7 - 50 minutes - 20 elliptical, 30 treadmill C25K W5D2
April 8 - 60 minutes - 30 elliptical, 10 stair, 20 weights
April 9 - 50 minutes - 20 stairmaster, 30 treadmill C25K W5D2 (the right one this time)
April 10 - 60 minutes - 30 treadmill, 20 elliptical, 10 stairmaster
April 11 - 40 minutes - 10 elliptical, 30 treadmill - C25K W5D3
April 12 - 20 minutes - weights; castrated 19 horses but I have no idea the 'testicles removed to calories burned' ratio so...weights it is.

April 14 - 60 minutes - 25 elliptical, 35 treadmill - C25K W6D1
April 15 - 50 minutes - 10 elliptical, 20 treadmill HIIT, 20 weights
April 16 - 30 minutes - treadmill C25K W6D2
April 17 - 60 minutes - 35 treadmill HIIT , 15 stairmaster, 10 elliptical

April 23 - 30 minutes - upper body weights...damn near 4 hours of squats in 90* heat while trimming goat feet. Ugh.

April 27 - 30 minutes - walk/run with the dogs

I don't plan on going for any set amount of time, I just want to jog every other day, lift weights a few times per week, and stay active. I do want to do something every day though!

I've been slacking off on my exercises lately..and like Athena I need to jump back on the wagon. The snow is melting so my goal is to speed walk daily 40-60 mins. And to also use my exercise ball!!

I think I'm going to make a more achievable goal for April, trying to workout as much as I did in March was burning me out a little bit, I want to work out consistently but not push so hard that I'm sore all the time. So I am going to aim for 1000 minutes this month. We'll see if thats a better goal for me.
