Metallica all the way. Old Metallica though, like the Master of Puppets album or Kill 'em All. In Flames is an amazing group too. Then there's some Spanish metal I listen too but I have yet to find anyone else interested in that. :P
I'm not into "metal" exactly, but recently I've been more interested in harder alternative/rock/punk type music... I LOVE The Used, Bullet for my Valentine, My Chemical Romance, The Red Jumpsuit Appartatus... Good stuff for working out in my opinion..
I don't know if they fall under the 'metal' genre, but Mushroomhead is great fro working out. "Sun Doesn't Rise" and "Almost Gone" are 2 of my favorites.
I'm more into black metal and blackened death, and it seems most everyone hates all that; I do like some old Metallica though, grew up listening to them, Ride the Lightning and Master of Puppets mostly. Sahg is an excellent doom band, esp. the first album, which i have on my mp3 player and listen to on walks/jogs. Lately I've been listening to mostly Gorgoroth, Trelldom, and Jotunspor while working out.
DISTURED RULES! Hey, Kristen, did you hear that slipknot, distured, possibly godsmack, and muddvayn are touring in a "metal fest" this year? suppose to kick off in June or July... YAY!!!!!!!!

Another 30-something popping in...Carana, have you ever heard of Flametal? They're a band out of the Bay area and they play flamenco-metal. They are pretty cool. I used to take guitar lessons back in the 80's from one of the guitarists .
Some of my favorite bands/albums to work out to are: Yngwie Malmsteen (Marching Out), Anthrax (Spreading the Disease), Metallica (Kill 'em All or Ride the Lightning), Megadeth (Peace Sells...But Who's Buying), Def Leppard (Vault)..... I know there are more but those are the first that come to mind. I must be stuck in the 80's though because although I've heard of some of the bands previously mentioned, I don't think I know any of the songs they put out
Party on headbangers!

He is a sweetheart, said a few naughty things though.
My first concert when i was a wee-little girl was his. This tour was a lot different than the Slayer tour, I wish you could of went. They did mostly all old songs since Twiggy came back. I have photos and videos if you are interested. You can PM me anytime. Nice to find a true fan.
