Way to go rdye! That's the right mindset! You WILL get to 150 by June! We all will! I added both of you to my buddy list too.

I'm doing WW too Amanda. I am very happy with it because I don't feel deprived at all, and it is really making me focus on portion sizes and everything. Good luck! I'm sure doing WW and working out 5 days a week will certainly make a big difference for you!

I do WW too!! It's the ONLY thing that works for me. I've tried Jenny Craig (HORRIBLE), WW, South Beach, Low Carb... the only thing that seems to work for me is WW. I'm shooting for 6 days of working out - 2 days weights w/my trainer and 2-3 in the gym with the last 1-2 videos (Pilates, Yoga, Abs) - it doesn't have to be 6 days of dripping sweat working out, but I just need to do it much more than not, if that makes sense.

WW girls - any good tricks & tips you've picked up along the way? I always love hearing people's favorite snacks. My new WW fav is the ALl Bran bars - only 2 pts and SOOO tasty - completely kicks a sweet craving and has a ton of fiber. I've also been mixing benefiber in some of my beverages - it doesn't get all thick and goopy like metamucil, but has fiber so it helps with satiety. And of course, I love Dannon Light 'n Fit yogurts - only 1 pt. I put 'em in the freezer for 10 min - just enough to make them thicker but not all the way frozen. SO delicious!!!

The Skinny Cow ice cream bars are my little treat! I don't have them often, but they are 2pts each and you get a good size bar! It's about the size of those popsicle/fudgesicle bars that are stuck together in two halves, you know the ones? Anyway, they're deeeelicious. I also really like Special K Mini Breaks, also 2pts. I usually keep a bag of those in my school bag so that I don't use the vending machine if I am hungry. WW has some pretty tasty little treats too. I love the almond cake slices (1.5 pts), the whipped chocolate mint bars (1.5), and the peanut bars (1.5 also). Ovaltine makes this "diet hot chocolate" called Options that I am absolutely head over heels for, even before I went on WW. It comes in a ton of flavours and it is ZERO points for one serving when mixed with water, as suggested. I love the mint chocolate one. Yuuuuumy! I have not seen it in Canada, but we have it in the UK (I spend 8 months a year here for school). I don't know where you are rdye but you might be able to track some down. I don't have any tips for you, but you should come join us on the WW boards!

Well my summer goal is 15 poundish, 17 actually. And yep by the start of June when the beach season kicks off. I don't have a ticker yet, but will try to get one sorted out. Good luck&motivation to all, we can do this

I never joined WW, just figured out the formulas and made my own worksheet but something I always liked was these:
Philly Swirl: Swirl Stix (48 cal) 1pt.
They come in these yummy flavors of cotton candy, caramel apple, banana split..you name it. They also have cups instead of sticks. Look it up.
Also, I liked visiting Dottie's Weight Loss Zone...especially if I was going to eat out. It was nice to see what the options were.

Default You can do it!

You've already come so far!! Congrats!! I'm sure you'll be able to lose the weight in time!! Its a reasonable goal as long as you keep at it!!!
My goal, on the other hand, may be out of reach.. I'm currently a size 28 and I want to be a 24 by June.. We'll see!!!
How did you lose so much weight already?! Did use a plan or anything? Or just diet and exercise?

Florida - I LOVE Dottie's! Such great info!!

So far day 2 back on plan is going well - and I planned ahead and got a gym pass for my tirp to New York this week. Might only make it one day due to a jam packed work schedule, but one out of three is MUCH better than 0 out of three!!!

Amanda - how do you like spinning? I did it a few years ago while training for a marathon - I liked it but never found a good schedule... you just made me think again about it!

My plan is to incorporate more veggies into my diet and make sure I work out every day. We started doing the biggest loser at work-most people have dropped out but I have a few to help keep me motivated! And I'm hoping others here will too!

Well, 15 lbs is about half of what I still want to lose but I've been plateauing since last summer (lost most of my weight in the first half of 2007) so 15 by June is sounding pretty good to me! And I know I have to rev up and get serious with my exercising again.

Oh, and freedomreins, I just found the Skinny Cow ice cream sandwiches a couple of months ago and I love them.

i would be excited if i could lose 15 by late june(and lose 15 more by sept)
its do-able and realistic if i could lose 50 in 10 months why not be able to lose over 30 in a reasonable timeframe)
