What will I look like AFTER I lose all this weight?
I sometimes wonder if after i lose all the weight and get to my size I'm comfortable with.... will I have excess skin? Will the stretch marks still be there? So even if I do lose the weight- will my stomach even be sexy ???? Anyone have any personal experience with this?

I lost 70+ lbs, I had been obese for 20 years. Stretch marks are permanent, but mine have faded to a silvery color, they are noticeable to me but probably not to other people. My breasts really really sag (but I'm a lot older than you - 38).
I do have loose skin - on my belly, inner thighs and under my armpits. I can't wear a bikini because my stomach doesn't look great.
That being said, I LOVE my body after my weight loss. I wear size 6 (sometimes a size 4) and I love shopping, I look good in almost all clothes. My boobs look great with the right bra.
I wouldn't go back to my 200 lb body, even with my current flaws, imperfections. I love how I look now! I little extra skin, saggy boobs and wearing a tankini is a small price to pay for how awesome I look in regular clothes!

Stretch marks are forever, but you'd likely get some with babies anyway! You may be lucky and not have loose skin since you are so young. Your skin likely has more collagen and elastin which will help to shrink it. Losing weight fast can cause saggy skin, so be sure to aim for 2 pounds a week- gradual is the key!

Try looking under before and after goal pictures. The one with "metamorphisis" in the title is amazing and these pictures sure make me feel motivated!!

My stretch marks grew!
Actually, I just shrank, so they appeared much longer, but they were already faded so I hardly noticed. I do have loose skin, but it has improved over time. Working out and age worked for me.
basically, I'm a smaller version of myself... Still have fat days, still have hot days, still try on jeans and have a muffin top if they don't fit properly... Just a smaller, yet happier version of...me.
Oh, and my boobs did sag (and I was only 22). It was pretty sad (went from a full C to a B). But they too have bounced back (pardon the term) a bit, or maybe I just don't care.

I don't think you have much to worry about, since you're in your 20's, your skin probably has most of it's elasticity left and your skin will sort of shrink back with your fat loss. But, you may have stretch marks. That's some you cannot control at any age. There are some products out there that claim to help diminish the appearance of stretch marks, but I don't know how accurate that is. I've never used any of the products, but you could look into that if you're really concerned.

shorty- HI! We are about the same height and weight, and I am not expecting any loose skin. Maybe under the arm, but that's EVERY WOMAN's problem, right? I think age will help a lot in this case, and weight lifting and tone to help.

when i started to lose weight i worried that it would cange my personality, that being thin would be denying myself to my own personality, a big bubbly person. i have now lost about 60lbs and i dont feel any different. infact somtimes i wonder if i look any different. So i guess any advice i give would be just enjoy every small goal, becuas eif u sit around waiting for the big goal, it will feel like nothing has changed, and u may miss out on all the small amazing differences to your body, weather that be, you can now run for a bus, or you can now do 20 situps, or you can now where a size down on jeans. :-) (sorry that lost track a abit im not sure where i was going with that)

I worry about this too. Not so much the saggy skin but the stretch marks and stuff. I know they are always going to be there but I'm hoping they get super light.
I wonder what I'll look like because I seriously don't remember EVER being that thin. I know it was before junior high. That's a long time ago and when I was at 150 or less I wasn't 5' 4". You know. I'm super stoked to see thenew me. I wonder if I'll be done at 150 or if I'll need to keep working.
Either way, we can't look any worse, right?

It is a sure eye-opener!!!
You might not even recognize old pictures of yourself at the same time as not being able to recognize yourself in the mirror (I guess your brain goes into a body limbo land and doesn't know what the heck it looks like)!!
One thing is for sure--- everybody's body is different. Some people have less excess skin issues than others, some get saggy boobs, some loose their butts (*weep*), and others may have very little problems with any negative weight loss impacts.
But if you ask me, I would rather be "thin" dealing with the scars and stretch marks than "fat" and dealing with them.
Also, have you been here: http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=219 because we discuss these issues all of the time in this forum, it is it's whole purpose in life!!

I went from 235 to 164 about 2.5 years ago or so...and they only thing i really retained from that were stretch marks, but i guess pin size lines that are silverish are a fair traid for a muffin top LOL. Not to mention instead of staring at yourself in the mirror pointing out your imperfections....when things start happening and changing it'll be flipped. You'll be like OMG a hip bone!

I agree with weight loss we will all look better than we did at being the fat chicks Clothes can cover up the extra skin we might get stuck with and the stretch marks. But come on clothes don't cover up our fat
So don't let it get you down I'm sure as young as you are you will look
GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
