Default I've been such a slacker

For the past week or so I havent exercised, and ate anything I've wanted. Why did I do this to myself again....I just don't understand! Today is a new day though and I am so going to get back into it. Yes, it sorda felt good to not hav eto worry about counting calories, but, Im actually scared to weigh myself! I probably gained 5lbs back. Im so looking forward to starting over though.

aww, no worries. i think that it's great that you're motivated and determined to start over again. that's the most important thing. we all have our set backs, bad weeks, and mess ups.. but it happens, as long as you get yourself up..everything will be fine!

well, you may have gained, but I doubt it would all be a true gain. To gain back 5 lbs. of fat you would have to have an excess of 17,500 calories in addition to your regular caloric intake! Likely you'll be a little bloated and retaining a little water so you'll see a bigger gain the first day or 2 you weigh but it'll settle back down again after that. Just get right back on track!

Getting back on track is the biggest thing when something like that happens.

It's not whether you fall down that counts, it's whether or not you get back up.

Accept ownership over your mistake, forgive yourself, and move on to a happier and healthier tomorrow.
