I can relate. The thing that gets to me is when my skinny friends say "Omg I'm so fat." and they can't be more than 120 pounds. I feel like I'm there for them to feel better about themselves sometimes. Like hey I'm nowhere near as big as Amanda.

One of my old roommates freshman year used to do that. She wore a size 0 and subsisted on beer, cigarettes, and Chef Boyardi (sp?). Hate. I came about this [-] close to slapping her once when she was whining about how fat she was and how I couldn't possibly understand the pressure. I'm pretty sure she was the Devil.

I used to be one of those annoying skinny girls who *****ed nonstop about fat.

Now I hate them all too. AND... a good portion of them DO ***** about how fat they are around people fatter than them just so they can feel better and get a guaranteed, "Shut up! You're so not fat!"

Awhile back, two girlfriends and I went to a dance club (we're all married, so it was just a fun girl's night out thing). My skinny, big breasted friend wore this...skimpy top and ALL the guys were all over her. Fine, no problem. I'm happily married and only out to have fun with my friends. But when I saw them talking and pointing, I knew what was coming. Can't ask the hot girl to dance without making sure the fat friend has something to do right? So humiliating to know the guy's only dancing with you so his buddy can dance with the girl they both wanted to dance with.

I've also always been the quirky, funny, smart one. I genuinely don't mind being that; I happen to enjoy being able to converse and make jokes on a higher level. But just once, I want to be the hot one. Not to be referred to as "the funny one" or "the smart one"...but as "the HOT one."
