Angry Mad at New York City! (Rant)

I love New York City, it is one of the greatest cities in the world. But they need to stop messing with my calorie counting! Has anyone else noticed that nutritional information has been disappearing off of restaurants' websites? So far I've noticed it missing on Togo's website and on Coldstone's.

There is a new ordnance going into effect in New York City that states that if a company publishes their nutrition facts, then they must also display those facts on the menu in the same font size as the other items on the menu. But many companies have found an obvious loophole which is far more simple than redoing menus for one city. They simply have stopped publishing the information.

So the end result is that I am in Los Angeles, and I have no access the the caloric values of foods that I once could. Sure, there is still some info on Calorieking or TheDailyPlate, but it isn't all up to date. I want to know what is in my sandwich! I want to know what is in my sundae! New York City, stop messing with my diet!

Wow, I didn't even know about that ordinance!
I go to school in NYC, and I thought this was going to be about how there are so many great places to eat and since there are so many non-chain places, it is hard to find calorie info. I guess it is hard even to find calories for chain places!
I apologize for my city haha

At least you had it to begin with! There are no restaurants in RI (beside Subway? haha) that will print the nutritional information on a menu. I've NEVER seen that before!

I think the implication (unless I'm mistaken) is that they're taking the stuff off the internet as well.
