Talking Dance Dance Revolution

I tried DDR for the first time last night, and it's amazing! I did workout mode, and I burned 204 calories! It's so fun I don't even feel like I'm working out!

Oh, and I apologize for not posting as much. I have been preoccupied lately. I also want to say that I weighed today, and I am down to 200! YAY!

Anywho, anyone else play DDR?

I know! I'm so excited!!

My friend brought his mats, and game over last night. When I have the money I want to get it. I think I will get that one before guitar hero. heh. :P

I dunno, if I do good with DDR, and don't get tired of it..I may cancel my Y membership and just play DDR, use the treadmill at home, weights, and walk our dog.

I would buy DDR for our PS2, but we live in an apartment, and I don't think our neighbours downstairs would appreciate it.

I used to play all the time when I worked for an amusement park/arcade back in BC. I must admit, I do miss it quite a bit...

I have DDR and it is so fun and addictive!! I haven't got the time to play at the moment (finishing my degree) but I can't wait for the summer and all the free time to get going again!

I don't do DDR per se, but I've installed StepMania (almost the same thing, but free ) on my PC, and lots of the official DDR mixes are actually available and compatible with it... so I guess the result is basically the same.

It's tons of fun, in any case. I'm using it again these days, when I need a break in revising but going outside to jog is kind of compromised by rain.

Did my DDR workout again yesterday. lol. Fun, fun, fun.
I also ordered DDR Extreme 2 last night, and SuperNova.
I will probably keep my membership at the YMCA. Just to play basketball indoors, swim, and lift weights & such. But, I think I get my cardio mainly from that game. I sweat like crazy, and feel so icky afterwards I have to take a shower. lol.

I used to do DDR to lose weight for a while. I think all my pads are now broken on account of my sister and her friends

Right now I'm going to the gym but when I move back in with my mom I might take up DDR again since there is no gym I like near her. It's a fun game, I've been playing it since 2000 and it's still fun

I love DDR but until very recently I did have any stuff to play it on. But I got myself a playstation (the first one, but it was a penny on ebay) and my bf has a game cube. So I may look into it.
I always have fun whenever I play.

My GF & I just bought the PS2 recently. We got it used from this collectors lair here where we live. It was around 130 for the system, two controllers, a memory card, and two games. Now we have like, 12 games. lol. Our friend gave us a bunch of his games that he didn't want anymore. Very nice of him. heh. I can't wait till we get our own mats, and DDR games though. We should get them by Friday.

I looove Dance Dance Revolution. Our matt is broken, but I think I am definately going to look into getting another one. I always feel so spastic doing it, but it can be addictive. I remember one night me and my BF played for like 6 hours LOL.

I love DDR! I used to play it in our old apartment, but since we bought our house, I don't do it as much. Our livingroom is smaller than it was in the apartment, and there isn't a lot of room. Plus we have an area rug there (to cover the horrible hardwood floors), and that makes it harder. I find that I need to tape the DDR mat with duct tape to the hardwood floor so it doesn't keep moving around. Does anyone else need to do that?
