It has nothing to do with anyone here but it's kinda funny...I know a kinda chubby girl (my ex's current, actually) and she got a tramp stamp of a celtic design around a cross and her kids names and birthdates. Sorry if I offend anyone with the name of the tattoo, but that's what most people know it as. Anywho, I can only imagine what it will look like if she has another one...knowing her and the kind of girl she is, it will most likely happen...

I've never heard that phrase before, but I'm not sure I understand what makes it a "tramp" stamp... because her kids names are on it? :?: I know a lot of people who have tattoos with their kids names on them.

her kids names on that particular one makes it worse. It's considered a tramp stamp because of the location, the middle of the lower back right above the butt. I've heard it called a couple other things but I can't remember them. The whole joke is that a tattoo there gives a guy something to look at or read during certain activities...so someone that does that activity a lot, sometimes labelled a "tramp", gets a tattoo there to keep the guy's attention and focus. It's technically a very mean, vulgar name but it's just so catchy and I'm a military wife that's been around Marines so much that tact isn't really part of my vocabulary...plus I just don't care. To me and the people I talk to, it's just an easy way to tell someone where a tattoo is. It's as easy as saying "right shoulder" instead of "the middle of the lower back" you know?
