I can definitely relate! It's good to know that I'm not the only one! Now that I have lost some weight, I look at pictures from when I was heavier, and notice how much fuller my face was, and how different my arms and legs looked...but when I was as that weight, I didn't think I looked that way. And now, when I look in the mirror, sometimes I see the new me, and other times I see the old me. I have always been especially critical of my legs, and I was convinced for awhile that they hadn't gotten any thinner, even though I dropped 3 pants sizes. I just told myself that the Gap started cutting their pants larger, and that must have been why I was fitting into the smaller size
It CAN get depressing, but I think my brain is finally starting to catch up and see the new me!
