Default Bouncing back from a heavy meal --

Had an exceptionally heavy dinner on Monday night - a 3-course prix fixe (a slice and a half of artesianal bread, oysters rockefeller, chicken & lobster pot pie with puff pastry crust, bean & bacon salad with whole grain mustard & vanilla-mascarpone panna cotta with raspberry caramel) so good but SO heavy. But every calorie was worth it and I only do this once a month or so & didn't feel too bad about it, asides from the bloating (and I didn't finish most of my courses!)

Made up for it today, big time -- ate super light (I think 1000 calories max, consistin), was in modern/jazz dance class for 75 minutes (killer stretches, wowza!), and another 20 minutes of weights. Probably won't go this extreme for the rest of the week but hopefully I can work this off over the next 2 weeks!

Aqua: This ONE meal shouldn't make that much of a difference to your weight. Just do your regular routine, and I doubt you will even see it on the scale when you have your weekly weigh in And drink plenty of water!

I agree.. it's one meal. I've found that having a "free" meal will give your metabolism a run for its money... when it doesn't know what to expect, good things can happen
