I Don't ever stick to my resolutions..always the same, lose weight, etc etc..

2006 has been different though.. I really did lose weight, learned to eat healthier.. I'd like for 2007 to finish my weight loss, continue to maintain and continue to eat the right way. I guess add exercise to my goals, I soooo lack in that dept...

Well, this Christmas I did pretty well.... I haven't gained anything yet, which is good...but I need to lose some. Not alot though. I really need to get back to exercising regularly again....or find a type that I enjoy doing! That's my 2007 resolution.

I am going to quit smoking! I've actually already started this goal, and I don't like to call it a new year's resolution. It's just a goal to me, LOL.

I'm not a heavy smoker, my first cigarette of the day is when I drive home from work at 4:30 or later when I have to go to the gym late. I always feel so guilty lighting up after a good workout. It's more habit than an addiction, so I'm hoping that it won't be too difficult.

If I ever feel urges to smoke, I'm going to do a mini workout and drink a glass of water. We'll see if that works!

Whew! Disappearing for the holidays.. *G*. Dont worry, I'm here.

My goal? Reach 140 lbs. Be able to touch my toes without bending my knees. Maybe work myself up to being able to run marathons, I've always wanted to try it. *G*

I want to continue to do some type of workout at least 5-6 times a week. I want to be a healthy mom and not have to lose a whole bunch after giving birth. I want to gain a healthy amount during my pregnancy.

After the birth, I plan on getting back on track with a strict diet and workout plan to get back to my pre prego body, maybe even look better than I did.

This past year was a one of my best years of Health! I now know my body better than ever. I know what I can eat, and I continue to buy the right healthy foods at the store. I manage to workout at least 3-5 times a week. I have learned even if I have an off week, I can always just start right back at getting my butt to the gym and eating right again. I feel more in control of the decisions I make concerning food and exercise.

I actually ran 5K this year a couple times a week. It was a great workout and I felt really proud of myself. I look forward to running again after the baby.

To 2007! a year of new!

I am going to get down to 145-150, and pay off my medical bills. Things are a bit stressful in my life right now with work, and what not - So, I don't think I could quit smoking at this moment in time. Maybe when I reach my weight goal, I will tackle the bad habit of smoking.

Hi everyone! This is my first foray into the weekly chat thread!

I would like to get to my goal weight in March/April or so and be maintaining by the time my big 25 comes around in May. I might even drop my goal some more because I'm about 15 pounds from it, and I don't think that that will be enough for my frame. So I'm considering maybe 125.

In these weekly chat threads, do we stay on the topic question?

here's to a good 2007!

Well its the big new years rockin eve, everyone got their resolutions ready? Here are a couple of mine:

1. See how long I can go without dessert in '07 (personal challenge)
2. Drink my water
3. Stop relying on material things to make me feel good about myself.
4. Become more dedicated to the things that matter most to me.

So what does everyone have in store for tonight?

Illinichick - Ahhhh what a sweety! Thanks.

muzikjunky - Oohh quitting smoking it a hige challenge, way to go not just giving up though. You are right you need to set yourself up for success by making sure it is the right time to tackle it. Just don't put it off forever...

ljd - No topic question here just whatever you would like to talk about. Welcome !

spill - Hey girly, miss me? I hope to be 'running' again soon lol. How have things been?
