Did any of you catch the lifetime movie "Queen Sized" the other night? It's a movie about a overweight teenager who is nominated for Homecoming Queen. It stars Nikki Blonsky (the adorable girl from Hairspray). If you missed it I noticed it's on again tonight on Lifetime.
It touches on things that I know many of us have experienced in our life such as people making fun of the fat girl and so on, but I think the thing that hit me the hardest is that sometimes we are our own worst enemy. I mean we say things to ourselves that we would never ever say to another person. The message of the movie to me was that sometimes other people believe in us way more than we believe in ourselves.
I saw the movie and cried through almost the whole movie. I saw myself in her. Expecially when she was standing infront of the mirror in her bra and she grabbed her stomach. I do that atleast 5 times a day. I thought that it was a good movie.
