Default KMart Challenge

Did anyone else join this national challenge? I did. Went to a location in Canton, GA. They were a bit disorganized and I was surprised to see them using a disposable camera for the photos, but I am entered. Their evil scale though had me at 166 (of course I drank a bottle of water (only 16 oz) to give me the edge...I learned that from TBL show!). My home scale says I 162.5.

Gotta run.

I'm entered! My store used a disposable camera too...maybe it was provided by the sponsors or corporate. I didn't think about drinking water, but my Kmart weigh-in was 191.6...yuck. I prefer my home BNWI of 187.0 much more.

I went for the challenge today. Our K-Mart also used a disposable camera, AND I was up on their scale. I WI at 187.5 at home, and on their scale I was 188.8

I am keeping both my tickers, with the different weights, because once this challenge is over, I will still be using my own scale at home.

If all goes well, we will all be 26 pounds lighter by April!!

Ann - I don't know if it will be too late or not (WI is every other Saturday, with today being the first one), but here's a link to the website that you can get all the details from: (you'll have to copy & paste it)

http://www.kmart.com/shc/s/dap_10151...w+Day+Your+Way

But feel free to join us for a "13 week challenge"

I signed up in FL today - not many people at my Kmart as I am in a smaller town and it wasn't well advertised here - I found out about it on 3FC this morning and was able to go after work My scale and their scale shows the same...of course TOM is here so I know I will definitely be good to go 2 weeks from now. I even called a friend and sent her over to sign up.

I'm excited

I signed up too! There had only been 13 people sign up an hour after it began. I was kinda surprised at the disposable camera as well... We'll see!!! Good Luck everyone!

Looks like LAWLers Paula, Kim, and Sherry (Dolphn), and Gator have joined us.

I tried to go to the kmart.com/newday site to register (as they suggest), but I must be challenged this morning as I cannot find a place to actually register. I'll try the DVD they gave me this week.

Well, it seems I could have joined this challenge after all..........because I discovered my DD was fired from Sears last week........and I just found out this a.m. Lord help me.......!!!! We are going through a lot with her right now......and while I feel very frustrated as a mom.......I soooooo feel for her with all that she is putting herself through right now. It is so hard to be 17. I will add more details as it is appropriate
XOXO

All of the Kmarts near my house were turned into Sears Essentials (when I called they had no clue what I was talking about), so I had to drive about a half hour from home to go register. The closest one was 10 minutes from the US/Mexico border! When I arrived there was a bit of a line and ONE person handling the whole thing. She was checking forms, weighing, and taking pictures (on a disposable as well). I got there at noon and I finally got out an hour later. They also didn't have any of the first 50 people prizes either. Apparently they never sent them to her. Next time I guess.

A little side note, I got my phone stolen, so my DBF had to drive all the way across town to go look for it and get me another. Bless him. It was a crazy afternoon! Good luck to everyone though!

Joni - I keep on checking the website as well, and there's nowhere for us to register. What I'm thinking is that once they weed through the applicants and upload our pics, etc, is when we will be able to hop on. If you get on, will you post to let us know its up and running, and I will do the same.
