Default Plan questions

I'm in CA & my center closed. I'm currently on the purple plan. Does anyone have the description of the different plans & how do I know when it's time to switch plans?
Thanks for any tips.

I think you would switch to gold after you're about 189-185 (which is 2 less oz of protein for chicken and 2 less for beef), plus you would get 1 less vegetable, so the count would be: 2P, 2S, 3V, 3F, 1D, 1 fat, 2 Lites. I think once you hit 135 or so you would move to green- but I'm not sure of the exchanges for those.

Hi 1uckygirl -
My understanding of when a person moves to another plan is it depends on height and weight. The COD's have a chart showing approximately when a person needs less calories to keep losing. Since you have not listed your height and current weight, I am not sure if buffstar's answer is completely correct for you.

Lynn
LAWL franchise center
total lost 61.5 lbs.
Current weight
Original goal of 50 lbs lost – achieved
New goal to lose total of 65 lbs

You're right, Lynx. I should add from my experience as someone in the height range of 5'4-5'6 (which is what I was told by the COD). Further, Gold is the plan that most people are on (what I heard from my COD- and it will probably be the one that you are the longest on-depending on your goal). Also, from my understanding green (if you goal is pretty close to the range for healthy weight) is the one where you might end at. For instance, when I was the most successful at LAWL - I started on Gold after about 189 (although this all is subject to change and subject to what Dan calls inconsistency ). Then I was told I would move down after about 138-135 and continue there until I reached my goal. Also, this does not include a suggestion of exercise- if you evercise more than 5 hours a week- that would change things also. Again, in these two posts I'm not proclaiming to know all, just trying to give you some suggestions. My goal for the new year is to learn to have fun "experimenting" with WL. Trying new things until I find out what works.

Good luck to you.
