Default Pedometer?

What is a good brand that sells pedometers? And where can I get it? Online is also okay..I would like one that is a nice one and measures my strides and actually also tells me how many calories I burn off and etc. I would like one that has a lot of features. I was thinking under $75 dollars at the most. I'm not too sure what is considered expensive for a pedometer? Any suggestions? Someone suggested to me that I buy one and then make a "game" out of it to see how close I can get to 10,000 steps a day.

Thanks,
Brit

I got mine at a sports store, but you can get them at WalMart, and definitely for under $75! Mine cost me $35CDN - and I couldn't ask for it to anything more than it does

Have a look and see what you fancy about them - some have more or less features than others. I'd avoid the dead cheap ones (like $5-15) but they probably work just as well Good luck!

Thumbs up Omron HJ-105 Digital Pedometer

Hi blondebritbrat17,

I use, and really like, the Omron HJ-105 Digital Pedometer, with
Steps
Aerobic steps,
Calories,
Distance.

It also has a digital clock and keeps the last seven days record.

I've worn my daily for two years. Just love using it. (Actually I'm on my thrid one since I tend to lose them in airports and where ever, LOL)

Here's the link to buy it through the 3FC store:
http://astore.amazon.com/3fatchionad...782553-1396751

For whatever reason, that link doesn't show you the picture, you here's a direct Amazon link with a picture (but use the above link to order through the 3FC store so they get their coin in commission).
http://www.amazon.com/HJ-105-Digital...797515&sr=8-10

Good luck.

The best pedometer seems to be the Omron HJ-112, based on a glowing report from Consumer Reports, as well as many members here that use and love it

Amazon has it for under 20 bucks.

Amazon has another version of it that comes with tracking software for your computer for around $32. Though it doesn't work with Windows Vista.

I just bought the newest version from OMRON! I love this brand, out of the dozens of pedometers I have purchased this is one far superior. I was tired of spending 5-20 dollars on a new one every month or every time it fell off and broke, so I got a link off of this forum from a wonderful person and purchased one off of amazon.com for $26. I've had it for about 2 months, and it is the most accurate (which is a big deal for me) pedometer I have ever had.

I have a little sportline one that is about the size of a credit card, only thicker. I like it because I can stick it in my pocket and not have it make a bump.. I have enought bumps on my own
