... and though I've gone through seemingly every possibility , I can't get it back on. I've overhauled and refined my blog a lot lately, but for some reason the 3fc updated blogs window is gone. So, does anybody have any advice for me ?
Its' still gone. I thought it was my turn to surf the updated blogs, and support others, I'd really appreciate having this accessable from my blog. Thank you.
From what i can tell, the default menu goes away once you use any of the widgets. I removed the widgets from your blog and it came back. If you prefer the widgets you can add them back. I'll see if I can find out if there's a way to make the updated blog list into a widget for the best of both worlds
Thanks, but the bummer is, that I *do* prefer the widgets (archives,calendar, and latest comments are important to me) . I'm becoming a real support oriented blogger, so having the updated blog feature would be nice in addition to my widgets. I noticed "Call me FlOwer" has both. I wonder what she did to get them both.
What I did to get what I wanted, (it isn't perfect yet) is to move the widgets around. Sometimes they don't work unless they are in a different spot. I really like the updated blogs, pages, comments, archive, and calender widgets. Move them around until you get them to show up. Hope that helps. It took me many tries to get it to all show up.
I was wondering about that? I figured flower is such a star she get's what she wants. LOL. I had tried to move mine around but the updated blogs still don't show up.
Okay, use this to get there. http://3fatchicks.com/diet-blogs/lostchick/ On your profile page, I believe you have either entered the addy wrong or you put more than just your user name of lostchick. Try editing it and see if that works.
Not all the themes will show all the widgets. Try getting rid of some and then adding others and see if the one you want really bad shows up. On the tomato theme, certain widgets don't work in certain places.
