Default I Have To Give Up Sbd :)

Hello Ladies ,
I have to quit SBD I just found out Dh and I are preg. I took 2 tests on Sat. This was completely a miracle because we had been told the only way for us to get preg was IVF. I want to thank you for your support last weekm and I will still be around checking in on you all to make sure you are doing what you need to do.

Congrats!

There are probably a lot of SB principles that you can incorporate into you life while expecting, make sure you discuss it all with your Doctor.

Wannabe!

What a wonderful little miracle!

Like Dixie mentioned, you can definitely do a Phase 3 throughout your pregnancy; it can be a very good way to ensure that you don't gain too much weight with the pregnancy and keep yourself healthy during. Talk with your doctors to see what they say.

that is wonderful news! Please keep checking in and let us know how things are going. I agree with the chicks, under a doctor's care you can still follow the healthy eating principals of SB without trying to lose weight. And we'll be waiting for you to join us on the beach again next summer!

CONGRATULATIONS!! That is awesome news!

I agree with the other ladies about sticking with SB-Phase 3 during your pregnancy... I think it's a very good idea. I would definitely discuss it with your doctor.

Please keep us posted on how you are doing.

SBD is awesome for pregnancy - especially since you are diabetic. Not phase 1 but the full blown phase 2 (3 whole grain starch - or more, 3 fruit) with lots of veggies and enough healthy fats to keep your calories up. There really is no better way to eat, you just eat more so you dont lose!

Congratulations and good luck!
