Mornin', everybody!
Cottage, you are such a workout studmuffin!
I'm so impressed with your dedication to getting to the gym! I'm due to go after work today. I think I'm going to do the treadmill for both a change of pace and, hopefully, an easier time, since my thighs have been killing me since Monday's workout.
Have fun while the girls are in dance!
Cat, I'm so happy that karma finally caught up with you!
I demand pictures of your re-upholstered sofa when it's done!
Seriously, I'd love to see it...it sounds just incredible!!!
Ruthie, how sad about the teenage mountie.
I'm sorry you weren't able to get into town. Hopefully it'll be a fast and easy trip today. And then you get to sew!
Your wall hanging is INCREDIBLE!!!! I'm so impressed with your talents! All that applique!
Wow.... Remind me...is Serena a possible candidate for Doggage #2 for you, or is she just doing dog socialization with Hersh? Sounds like an amusing time! Does Hersh think she's a puppy or just an annoyance?
LC, I hear you on the Bell guy--it's so hard to get good help these days...
No, really, it can be! I hope you are able to get him to work!
Ah,
Schmoodle, I'm with you on volunteer banquets.
But sometimes I'm surprised by how much fun I end up having. I hope you get lots of time with the fun people and next to none with the annoying ones.
Gonnabe, you are such a positive light in here!
Thanks for making me feel better.
I hope you have great fun with your family staying with you! I grew up living far away from all our relatives, so when they visited, it was like a continual party/holiday! I hope it's like that for you, too!
Hey,
Jenn! Don't beat yourself about exercise. It's hard to do in P1! However, just as an aside, I find I'm more likely to get to the gym if I tell myself that I
will do it. If I tell myself that I'll
try, I often find an excuse. But I'm lazy that way!
Hope things go well at work and that your boss gets a red face when you ask for that info after his return!
You're sneaky!
Beautiful
Barb, my heart breaks for you, but I'm SO glad you got the hard talk out of the way. I know it might feel hard right now, but I think you might be doing the best thing for your DH, too. It's forcing him to move on with his life. That'll be a good thing for him and then, ultimately, a good thing for Brian. I'm so glad you're doing the best thing for you, though. Brian will be a much happier camper when you're happy more than you're sad!
We're all here for you, hon...so if you feel tempted to drown your sorrows in *insert food porn here*, come see us first, okay?
Me:
Had a fantastic visit to the Nutrition Clinic yesterday--
I lost 6 pounds!
After last week's "no change" debacle, this was a relief! I guess I actually lost almost 8, but gained almost 2 in muscle, so that's good, too. I'm assuming much of the 6 was probably water...it's just not possible to truly lose that much in a week. It was TOM, too...but I'm still finishing up, so I don't know why I'd lose so early in the cycle.
Heck, I'm still taking it, though!
I was really OP last week...measuring portions out, leaving the two bites on my plate at dinner each night like my counselor asked (which is torture, by the way!
), and got in 4 serious exercise sessions and a half hour of walking to church (which he says counts as a 5th session
). Now I just have to do it again!
DH has his guy's night out tonight (either pool or euchre, both with beer...), so I'm looking forward to getting some stuff done for Christmas or working on my scrapbook or maybe even both! I hope to try to call a couple of friends, too...it's been forever since I've caught up with some people and I miss them!
Hope everyone has a great day!
