Good Morning Cottage (et al) Have fun at Curves!!!

For having such a crummy week so far, yesterday evening and so far this morning has been great. The people who are reupholstering my sofa called last night and said my fabric was in and that the people they had lined up to work on have gone out of town, so did I want the work done early?...It was not supposed to be till after Christmas! I was thrilled and they came over about 7 last night and picked it up...I might even have it for Thanksgiving! I have been wanting a new dining room table that seats 8 and found one I loved...it's square, imported from India and seats 2 on each side. But when I went back to get it, it was gone...BUT they had one in the back that had been slightly damaged in shipping, so they are going to repair it and I get a discount on it.

Then this morning a client emailed me that she had fed-exed me a check that was WAY more than what I billed her for cause I did a lot of extra stuff for her this month at the last minute.

I guess karma has kicked in! yahoo. The client I don't like didn't balk at my price increase, so I guess I'll just bite the bullet and keep doing his work. It will come in handy for Christmas I guess.

Haven't noticed the scale moving much lately, but I'm OP so I'll just let my body decide when to start dropping again. I'm ok at this weight/size for now.

Cottage, you put me to shame. I may make it to the gym today - if they still let me in.

Cat, I'm glad karma has kicked in - you were due. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that you get your furniture before Thanksgiving.

Today I just MUST go to town. I canceled out yesterday because downtown Brockville was closed off due to the huge funeral for a 19 year old RCMP officer (Mountie) who was killed. They were using three churches for the service. Everyone was parked in the shopping centres and bussed downtown.

Donna comes to clean this morning so I may just leave her "in charge" of Hershey and take off. This afternoon I can relax and sew. The breeder is bringing Serena for another "orientation" session around six - should be interesting to see how Hershey reacts to the invasion of her space by a six pound midget dog.

May your Hump Day be just a gentle slope.

Cat, It sure does sound like a Red Letter Dayfor you! That's wonderful that so many good things are happening.

Barb, I bet you feel a huge sense of relief to finally have it out in the open. I think you're giving him much more than he deserves, though. He should be ashamed of himself for letting you support him. How's Brian taking all this? I hope it all ends well.

I woke up with a pounding headache, but I'm feeling better now. Coffee and exercise are kicking in. I'm just doing a few loads of laundry this morning and working on my menu for Thanksgiving. This afternoon the girls have ballet/tap after school, and I look forward to that because I can sit in my car with a magazine and a latte. Leftover chili is on the agenda for supper tonight.

Morning chicks, just a quick one before I walk the kiddies to school. Tonight is our volunteers banquet, and I really don't want to go and make nice-nice with some of the idiots that will be there, sigh. But i'll do my part for small-town harmony. At least I had a hand in planning the menu, so there will be grilled chicken and steamed veggies. Otherwise, another uneventful day around here (let's hope).
I'll be back for personals later.
But I just have to say, I'm with cottage, Barb. As I posted in the daily thread last night, he should be embarrassed that you have to support him and his son... And i hope he doesn't try to take advantage of you. But I know from your posts that you are a strong woman and capable of taking care of yourself and Brian, so I'm sure you will do what you need to and be fine in the end.

Femme your blessings sound awesome. Good luck on getting your sofa back before Thanksgiving

Cottage, Ruth, LC & Schmoodle Hope you have a great hump day!

Our prayer meeting lastnight was great. This evening I am going to start doing my biggest loser workout video as It's been since september since I did it last. I have a busy next few days to get the house completely together (including the plumbing) as my brother, sister in law & nephew will be staying with us until they close on there house. I'm excitied to have my nephew staying with us - I love him to pieces.

Have a great morning!!!

Morning chickies!

Femme: Great news all around! Hope your Wednesday is just as good!

Ruth: Hope you get to the gym and have a good day downtown!

Cottage: exercise and caffeine -- duo of the Gods if you ask me

LittleChick: I ask myself that same question EVERY day. Some people are just dumb!

Schmoodie: Try to enjoy what you can of the dinner. people seem to be taking dumb pills as of late.

Gonnabe: Good luck with the video. And can you send some of that nice weather my way??

ME: I am running late for work. It's gotten so bad with my boss, with whom I do NOT get along, I just don't have any motivation to go. Of course, he just eMailed to say that he won't be in until noon! I think he's lying about where he is going so I asked him to bring me back some info...

I didn't get to the gym last night I didn't get home until 7 and by the time I made dinner and got situated, it was already 9p and I was pooped! So I am going to try, if the rain holds off, to go to the gym today.

Hope you all have a stellar hump day!

Morning Chickies!

Cottage WTG on getting to the gym this morning despite the headache. Enjoy your "quiet" time with a magazine and latte later!

Cat Yeah to good karma!

Ruth Hope all goes well with Hershery and the little one today.

LC Hope you whipped that installer into shape!

Schmoodle Sending you good vibes to get through your dinner tonight and put on your happy face!

Gonna House guests! Sending good vibes your way also!

Me My little nude friend was still standing guard at the coffe house today, atleast today I prepared for him! BAD eating day yesterday! Shame on me! We won't even discuss what I had because Ruth would ban me for major food porn! Oh sure I can try to blame it on TOM due any day, but lets be honest, it was just me being really bad! Doubled the yoga this morning, will chug my water and trudge forward. I have made a vow to have 8 clean eating days before turkeyday at the inlaws! Baby Steps!

Have a great day all. "See" ya later!

Mornin', everybody!

Cottage, you are such a workout studmuffin! I'm so impressed with your dedication to getting to the gym! I'm due to go after work today. I think I'm going to do the treadmill for both a change of pace and, hopefully, an easier time, since my thighs have been killing me since Monday's workout. Have fun while the girls are in dance!

Cat, I'm so happy that karma finally caught up with you! I demand pictures of your re-upholstered sofa when it's done! Seriously, I'd love to see it...it sounds just incredible!!!

Ruthie, how sad about the teenage mountie. I'm sorry you weren't able to get into town. Hopefully it'll be a fast and easy trip today. And then you get to sew! Your wall hanging is INCREDIBLE!!!! I'm so impressed with your talents! All that applique! Wow.... Remind me...is Serena a possible candidate for Doggage #2 for you, or is she just doing dog socialization with Hersh? Sounds like an amusing time! Does Hersh think she's a puppy or just an annoyance?

LC, I hear you on the Bell guy--it's so hard to get good help these days... No, really, it can be! I hope you are able to get him to work!

Ah, Schmoodle, I'm with you on volunteer banquets. But sometimes I'm surprised by how much fun I end up having. I hope you get lots of time with the fun people and next to none with the annoying ones.

Gonnabe, you are such a positive light in here! Thanks for making me feel better. I hope you have great fun with your family staying with you! I grew up living far away from all our relatives, so when they visited, it was like a continual party/holiday! I hope it's like that for you, too!

Hey, Jenn! Don't beat yourself about exercise. It's hard to do in P1! However, just as an aside, I find I'm more likely to get to the gym if I tell myself that I will do it. If I tell myself that I'll try, I often find an excuse. But I'm lazy that way! Hope things go well at work and that your boss gets a red face when you ask for that info after his return! You're sneaky!

Beautiful Barb, my heart breaks for you, but I'm SO glad you got the hard talk out of the way. I know it might feel hard right now, but I think you might be doing the best thing for your DH, too. It's forcing him to move on with his life. That'll be a good thing for him and then, ultimately, a good thing for Brian. I'm so glad you're doing the best thing for you, though. Brian will be a much happier camper when you're happy more than you're sad! We're all here for you, hon...so if you feel tempted to drown your sorrows in *insert food porn here*, come see us first, okay?

Me:
Had a fantastic visit to the Nutrition Clinic yesterday--I lost 6 pounds! After last week's "no change" debacle, this was a relief! I guess I actually lost almost 8, but gained almost 2 in muscle, so that's good, too. I'm assuming much of the 6 was probably water...it's just not possible to truly lose that much in a week. It was TOM, too...but I'm still finishing up, so I don't know why I'd lose so early in the cycle. Heck, I'm still taking it, though! I was really OP last week...measuring portions out, leaving the two bites on my plate at dinner each night like my counselor asked (which is torture, by the way! ), and got in 4 serious exercise sessions and a half hour of walking to church (which he says counts as a 5th session ). Now I just have to do it again!

DH has his guy's night out tonight (either pool or euchre, both with beer...), so I'm looking forward to getting some stuff done for Christmas or working on my scrapbook or maybe even both! I hope to try to call a couple of friends, too...it's been forever since I've caught up with some people and I miss them!

Hope everyone has a great day!

Default Morning`

Hi all, the beginning of the day in ER.....well it actually began 3 hours ago. Who in their right mind goes to work by 0600. As you can tell I'm not a morning person.

Did good with eating yesterday, today is day 14 of phase 1 and I'm going to stay on there until Friday. It's a day off and I need a controlled environment to advance to phase 2. I have 5 days off after Thursday so I'll hopefully get into a good groove.

Ruth, more doggage???? Girlfriend you really need to slow down....just a little.

Beachgal...congrats on the WL, you are awesome!

Pacer, thanks for not posting food porn, your other porn in plenty!

Jenne: you are devious.... good girl!

gonnabe, you sound so busy. Sounds like you will be having fun! Do you love the "loser" workout?

Schmoodle....try to endure!

little chick.......take a deep breath........

cottage, hugs hope the headache gets better

femme, I like your attitude about WL, being content is something I need to work on.

Well, I'm at work and need to go to some healthcare. Hugs to all

LC, Don't be embarrassed, at least you're doing something about it. My ticker's been lying for the past couple of weeks, but I hope it will be telling the truth by the end of the month.

Jenn

Stephanie sounds like you have set yourself a good plan - Good luck!

Laurie thank you for the complement. Family is very important to me and I just love y new nephew. Congrats on the 6lb's lost

RN yes I do enjoy the BL video as you can customize your workouts and the length of your workout it plays a big part in all the inches I have lost.

LC pick your head up you'll get those 9lbs off and then some

So I'm having a hard time today as I keep missing & thinking about my dad and I just cry at the drop of a hat. I guess with it getting closer to the holidays I will feel this way.

Be back later....
