Default Scary Stats On Sugar

Hey Girls here is a interesting email I just got, thought that it may help with the Halloween Treats....So think before you eat.

A lot of people ask me about sugar? What to look for, how much to have, whatis high in sugar? Etc...I have typed up some interesting facts on sugar.Study this and print it out so it will help you calculate just how muchsugaryou are getting in each day! Now, after reading this you may have seconds thoughts about reaching forthesecond helping of the Halloween Twix bar...haha...A friend of mine told meshetook a terrible craving over the weekend and wolfed down 16 Halloween sizechocolate bars..can you believe it! haha...that is almost pushing 1200calories in pure SUGAR...now, when I talked to her today on the phone shehada sugar hangover and did not feel too good! I told her, this is why youshould not buy the Halloween candy before Halloween and allow yourself togiveinto your mini cravings every once in a while because when you do not, andrestrict yourself too much (like what happened in this situation) thoseminicravings can turn you into the FULL BLOWN Chocolate monster! haha... Everyone have a great Scary Halloween and I hope this document is helpfulforall of you!

Timely advice, LC! I love that cartoon, "Itty-bitty candy bars do NOT make for an itty-bitty butt!" So true, so true!

Oh, I believe it littlechick, in my sugar days I could easily eat a bag of those mini bars in a day. I used to pick up the Halloween candy ahead of time because it was on sale. Of course I bought what I liked and of course on Halloween day I was running to the store to replace it!

Here's another stat I heard on the news last night - Americans eat an average of 150 lbs of sugar a year. That's almost half a pound of sugar a day!

Cute cartoon! I think I'll print it out and put it up in the kitchen to help get me through tomorrow. Thanks!

LOL had to print the cartoon and tape it to my monitor! Now I will see it for the next 2 days, all day long!

Of course I bought the candy I don't like this year, now lets just hope no one sends any into work!
