Watched Rocky Horror Picture Show about a month ago on PayPerView.

When it first started I was like "w..t..h".

As the movie went on I started to love it!!!

Now I'm hooked!!! I'm pestering hubby to buy me the 25th anniversary special edition.

Mmmmm Tim Curry (wow he was my age when he made that movie)

actually gonnabe...rocky horror picture show (despite the name) is a comedy. Its freaking histarical. Very warped and weird but its def a good one. tama - if you ever see the movie playing in a theater...go check it out. There's a cult that follows rocky horror...they recite the lines, throw bread when they give the toast..etc...funny. I love that movie. Some of my fav movies include princess bride, all the shreks, wallace and grommit, a foreign film called Ameilie, and momento.

I can't believe you hadn't seen Rocky Horror before! As my DH says, "it's a classic." Another fun one is Young Frankenstein. I remember watching that one Halloween with my kids--they thought it was going to be scary. They didn't get a lot of the jokes (thankfully) but they enjoyed being allowed to watch a "scary" movie!

Your question was about favorite movies. I have one that I loved years ago, called Local Hero. I lent it to a friend who never returned it, so I may never get to see it again. It was a very strange, subtly funny show.

That show is great. You really don't get the full force of it until you go to a midnight showing. The place is packed and everyone has bread and toilet paper and wire hangers lol. I happen to love the movie frequency.

Oh yes, that was a cute show, it's been a long time but I'll have to see it again
(wasn't it a howl when the psychiatrist climbs outside Burt Lancaster's window putting up signs and trying to get a rise out of him?? ) My #1 fave is The Quiet Man (John Wayne and Maureen O'Hara), and I just saw Apollo 13 again a few nights ago: I wish I could think of some others right now

I'm into blow em ups. So anything with Bruce Willis or Arnold Schwartzenegger gets my attention. Others who grab my attention are Mel Gibson, Keanu Reeves and Tom Cruise.

I don't really have a favorite. I have quite a few favorites. By that, movies that I can watch and rewatch repeatedly and never grow bored. Some of them are:

Die Hard
True Lies
Lethal Weapon
50 First Dates
My Cousin Vinny

I saw Rocky Horror...once. That's all I could take of it. LOL Sorry, just not a fan.

Ummmm, Johnny Depp!

My DD and DH want to see Elizabeth: The Golden Age. Neither of them knew it was a "sequel". I suggested we see the first one first.

On Netflix the reviews of the sequel weren't that good. I don't know why except that the first one must have just been even more astounding. I just LOVED Cate Blanchett. Elizabeth was my kind of woman!
