Default Two Years Smoke Free

Today is my two year anniversary for being smoke free! At 11:55pm on October 18, 2005, I was smoking my very last cigarette....and crying because I was going to miss them so much. Today, I don't miss the stinky expensive things at all. I know that some of you here are trying to quit. Please be encouraged.... you can do it. If I can quit a 1 1/2 pack a day for 20 years habit....and I really enjoyed smoking....then you can quit too!

CONGRATS!!!

I quit almost 12 days ago!! Thanks for your encouragement

Already I dont miss them (but then again, I'm cheating and using the patch... trust me... you don't want to be around me after quitting if I'm NOT on the patch). I have some students come in to start a test after they had a smoke, and they just REEK!!! And i think... "oh god... and I smelled like that??"

Congratulations Rhonda!

It is the best feeling to know that you really can stop destroying your body with poison if you only set your mind and do it!! I have been a non-smoker for one year and 8 months. I had a two pack a day habit and smoked for 23 years. If I can do it, anyone can!!

Keep up the great work Tamaralynn!! I can smell smoke on people now and it is disgusting!! In the beginning months after I quit I would cry from shame that I actually allowed myself to smell that horrible and be that offensive.

For those that smoke and want to quit....DO IT!! Yes, it's hard, but most things in life that are worthwhile are hard. It is so worth it and you will never regret it once that addiction has been broken.

Now about this weight issue???
