A.M. Exercisers Week of 8/20 - 8/26
Good Morning! A new week full of new opportunities!
I have finished The Firm Super Body Sculpt, 42 min. I still need to work on getting up before 5:45! School starts in one week and I want to be ready!
What's everyone else doing?

wow 5:45 you are early!! I am getting ready to get on my elliptical 35-40 minutes, do some general exercises for 14 minutes and hopefully get my weight lifting out of the way.

Well I'm up. I ate breakfast and usually I'd be heading out for the gym now. Unfortunately husband schedule has changed for this week. Now he's going into work so I'm staying home because I don't have childcare. Tonight I plan to go to the gym for a class at 7:30. So for this week I'm not an AM Exerciser. I hope I can stick to plan beautifully because usually that's what keeps me in check ("I just exercised so why would I ruin that?").

I had a love affair with the snooze button this morning. I was up, dressed and stretching by 6:05 and was out the door at 6:15. I walked/jogged my mile route in 15 min. Then I did some push-ups, crunches, reverse crunches and bicycle's for another 10 min. Add in my stretching before and after, and I did a 40 min workout.

Okay so I'm not an AM exerciser this week, but I must post anyway. Hope yall don't mind. Yesterday was VERY difficult for me without getting my exercise done in the AM. I felt lazy and lacked energy. When husband came home I got ready for the gym and I was getting ready I felt so much better. Perhaps I should have gone for a walk in the morning just to get fresh air and my spirits up. I did a 45 minute low impact aerobics class followed by a 15 minute abs class.
Today I'm going out for a bit and plan to do my weight lifting class at the gym.

Running a little late this morning. I tried a new tape today, Super Cardio Sculpt. I did 30 min of a 40 min tape. I didn't like it, no ST. I'll save that tape for a cardio only day. Now I have to lift weights when we get home from the beach. I feel like I wasted my time. ggrrr
After spending 5.5 hours on the beach, I am bushed. No ST for my upper body today..but my lower body got a good workout. Wave resistance and stair-climbing! lol Sand dunes are a great workout for your legs and the sand exfoliated my feet!

Well I came I saw I conquered
After falling asleep at 8pm last night felt exhausted still when I got up. Still... went and did my thing although I walked it this morning instead of running.

Good Morning. Today was a cardo day. I am moving slower than I would like to be. My 1.2 mile walk/jog took 20 min. today. Stretched some, before and after.

Well, it all caught up with me. I woke up this morning with sore, swollen legs. *sigh* Don't know if it was the ocean or the standing in line last night for 45 min. to get my son registered on the bus. I woke up on time, but did not exercise.
My plan is to mow my lawn after work. That will take close to an hour. I am not quitting morning exercising, I do enjoy it. I will be back on track Monday morning!
The lawn is done, 30 min. Then I got out the manual edger. The kind with the star shaped contraption on the end. You push is up and down the edge of your sidewalk, to trim the grass. I did that for an hour, and I'm not done yet. I know my back and shoulders got a good workout! Will finish that tomorrow.

For the first time today I got up and worked out BEFORE work! I only went for a 30 min. run/walk and felt a little rushed after that getting ready for work but I wasn't feeling to tired or anything, yay!
I have 3 day weekends and on those days I get up and work out in the morning (around 6:30 or 7:00) but to work out before work I have to get up at 5:00....but it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought, maybe I can start doing this regularly and join in more often on your thread!!

Thats great Wisher! Still getting up that early even when you don't have to work!
I had class at 10am...and slept until 7:30. *sigh* So I exercised this evening. Tomorrow is full of stuff too. So I am going to set the old alarm for 5:15 and walk/jog before church! See ya in the morning!

Well, it wasn't early, but I did get up, eat breakfast, get dressed and rode my bike uptown! Will try for an early bike ride or walk again tomorrow. I like the idea of morning exercise until that alarm goes off. Cats prefer me to stay in bed and cuddle them, too.
