Salad dressing Your fav?
I made it through first 2 days of 8 week body makeover!! Can someone clarify the guidelines when picking a salad dressing. (such as carbs etc) Having trouble finding something that is tasty AND legal. Would love to hear what others are using for their daily grazing of the greens. Thanks Ann

Wishbone Salad Spritzers. Red Wine Vinaigrette is my favorite. I put the salad in a bowl that has a lid, spritz, put the lid on and shake so the dressing gets all over it. 10 sprays = 10 calories.

Up here in eastern Canada we finally got the salad spritzers but they are by Hellmans. The same as wishbone though. I like the Italian and the Raspberry Vinaigrette (sp?). I tried the Asian Silk but it was too strong for me so I am taking it into work on Monday and giving that away to a friend.
I also like greek dressing - the oil based ones. It has 4 g of fat per serving buta little goees a long way and it has the same fat content and such as many of the lighter ones. It seems to work for me and I put it into my diary and COD approved it for me.

Alannah - We don't have the new salad spritzer flavors yet so I haven't gotten to try the asian silk or the raspberry vinaigrette. I keep seeing them advertised in magazines, but I haven't seen them in the stores.
One other dressing thing I like to do is take equal amounts of salsa and rf sour cream mix them into a salad for a mexican taste. If you use 1 1/2 tablespoons of each you use up all three condiments for the day, but it covers the whole meal-sized salad. You can use less for a side salad too.

We just got the new spritzers here and I'm lovin that Raspberry Bliss. I like the Huckleberry vinagrette by lighthouse too. If I'm craving a creamy dressing, I have lite ranch. Can't handle the fat free stuff, but I just water it down a little so it's not so thick.

I like to use Galeo Cafe's Miso Ceasar dressing. I order it online and it is fantastic! They have 3 other flavors as well - Miso Ginger Wasabi, Miso Sesame Seed and Miso Dijonnaise.

Yum Cassie, the salsa and SC dressing sounds right up my alley. I like the new spritzers too, I have the Asian Silk, Balsamic vinaigrette and the Raspberry vinaigrette.

i mainly use fat free ranch, or fat free honey dijon. i know that they may be higher in sodium, but i don't use much, so i don't worry about it much.

"RF" means "Reduced Fat" - I only know this b/c I use "RF" and "FF" now as a little shorthand in my journal instead of having to write it out.
