I found this sight a couple of weeks ago and I love it!!!! I decided to join today. I wanted to introuduce myself. My name is Liz. I live in the Houston suburbs and I've been fat since i was 4 and I'm sick of it and I'm finally going to do something about it!!!

You have certainly come to the right place if you want support, encouragement, sympathy (we've all been where you are, or somewhere similar), a kick in the pants or whatever you may need to help you along your own path to a healthier 'you'. Honestly, there are some amazing people here who you will come to love and respect if you stay long enough and get to know them.

Hey Liz, welcome to the board. You've got the same attitude that I have right now, and that I'm just sick of being fat. There comes a point when you just don't feel good about being in this situation, food just seems to not be important anymore. Welcome again and hope to see you here often through your journey.
