Can someone please explain the difference between gold and gold 2? I was on red with lites for 4 months and now I just got a doctor's release to move to another plan and they put me on gold. I have been stalled for the last month and I am at my wit's end. I have been very faithful to the plan and very frustrated. Hope gold is what I need. Thanks

That one I can't help you on.. I am on gold but don't know of a gold 2.. based on what I have learned I would guess it is what you would follow if you were not doing the Lites.
My Gold is 2 P, 2S, 3V, 3 FR, 1 FA and 1 Dairy.. and then 2 Lites.

Gold 2 is a new color plan that will be coming out soon. Did your COD tell you about it? My COD got a new menu planner a while back at a convention they went to. We were one of the "test" centers for this. They changed me to gold2 right after they got it. Gold2 is 2 1/2P,3V,2F,3S,2D,2Fa,2 lites. I am really liking it so far. Going by their little chart, my ideal weight for my height (5'6") is 118 , I would move to green at 138 and gold 2 started at 178. I would imagine I would move back to regular gold around 158.

Thanks for the info, Deb. I asked about gold 2 today at my COD and the counselor said she had not heard of it. My center is a franchise location. The plan looks great. I am so inspired by your progress and the progress of others on this board. Take care

If you are at a franchise, it may be a long time if ever before you see it. I think it is geared more towards the corporate centers. It's sad that there are so many differences between all the centers.

I have a corporate center too and they've never heard of it here either. And I've found that my COD is pretty up to date on things. But they said they will let me know as soon as they are told about it.
