Hi all - I hope this is the right place to post this question:

Is Crystal Light a good option to water? I do know that water is the best option I just find it hard to drink a lot of water, but I AM finding it easy to drink 4 Liters a day when I give it a Crystal Light kick! I used to drink virtually NOTHING in a day, so I am inclined to think this is better than nothing, but I'd LIKE to think it's a little batter still!

Just wondering if anyone else is a Crystal Light junkie, and what your general thoughts and feelings are?

That is how I started drinking my water now i pretty much exclusily drimk water. I slowly made the switche after months. I still drink crystal light but no very often.

Hi heather me personaly i have researched on aspartame its in all those artificial sweeteners.There are 98 different dangers put out by the fda on it including tumors and death me myself when i drank it it made my vision go out and headaches and depression .I hope that this message gets out to a lot of people on this site .Some people in my family look at it like this were gonna go out from something but ive come to believe its more dangerous than good and its not for me .Me myself i go to publix or walmart i get this product called STEVIA its all natuaral no toxins its been used thousands of years its just like all those sweetlow nutra sweet products but without the dangers buy regular coolaid and mix .Also you can go to a health grocery store and get raw pure honey its realy good. ps :diet sodas, coke zero its loaded with aspartame . good luck heather

I don't like water myself personally but I can get down some plain old stuff. I do though use Crystal Light daily. I use the single packs and can get three bottles of water to one pack of the singles. It changes the taste of the water just enough so I can drink it comfortably. Try that and that way you won't be getting as much aspartame as you would if you used the whole pack into one bottle......Just a thought.

I agree with Kim- you don't have to use the whole package. I just had my teeth bleached and my hygenist said, if it colors water, it colors your teeth. Be sure to brush!

heres a good link ive found with all the research ive done on the subject of aspartame http://www.mac-archive.com/ns/side.html this is the 92 symptoms by the fda .Also apartame makes you fatter because it makes you crave carbs im not a docter ,but i will try my best to find a link to explain this.please pass this information around!

I've noticed if I start drinking crystal light I get bad carb/ sweets cravings. I know other people who have had similar experiences. But for some reason that doesn't happen with regular diet sodas. IMO, crystal light is just weird.

i drink mostly water but I do use crystal light at dinner.... that's my one time a day other than that I've weaned totally to water.

part of my hating water BTW was that it tasted bad to me, when i switched to having water delivered (i.e. bottled water) I found out it tastes much much better...

I like bottled water very very cold. As for the Crystal Light packets, I also use half at a time; otherwise, I find it is too strong for my taste.

I tend to makes very very mild country time lemonade as the crystal light is very strong indeed!
