Default It was just 2 cookies......

Ugh, I had to come and confess my sins, yesterday (in a few moments of weakness), I had one PB cooked and a big M&M cookie from our work cafeteria....ugh. Just when I was at the lowest weight I have been in a year or more...isn't that grand. Then when I got on the scale this morning I was up 4lbs!!!! OMG NOT 4 LBS!!!!! I guess that is what I get for cheating, . Well I am trying to get back on that wagon today. Problem is I don't know if it all came from the cookies, or if it came from the Tuna casserole I made last night, I made it with low sodium everything including the tuna...lol. What do you guys think, I need a hug or something.

Big hug coming your way, Nisha!

It sucks when you see a gain like that, and you think, "I didn't really even cheat!"

Drink some hot lemon water girlie!! I'm sure it will come off in no time.

awww! sending a hug to you!
we all stray on occassion and end up beating ourselves up for it and seeing a huge jump on the scale doesn't help, i know. but more than likely it's just excess water weight that will come off with some extra glasses of water and a few days back on track. don't worry, 2 cookies won't make or break you. this is a lifestyle change and we are human and can't be perfect all the time!

I have found that splitting proteins works well for me. I tend to lose better when I have protein at each meal (hmmm... maybe I should be doing the Zone diet, LOL)

Just remember that it is supposed to be the same protein when you split it. (not sure of the exact reason, except to keep measurements correct)

Yep, that was my issue I split a protein with a different protein, I had 1.5 Tblsp RF PB and a stick of RF cheese...oh well, I guess we will see how that turns out.

I split my proteins sometimes, and I haven't really noticed it affects my weight loss. My COD doesn't like it when I do that, so sometimes I have to "tweak" my journal before going to WI......

Everyone has missed the most important question. Were the cookies good? Could you describe the peanut butter one in more detail?

I split protein but I am not careful about keeping them the same and my COD has never caught it I guess. The Eggs are a hard one for me, I guess it is habit, but one protein (on red) is 3 eggs. who eats 3 eggs? I eat two. Well 3T of PB is also one protein, but I don't need 3T of that either. I like 1T. so I will eat 2 eggs for breakfast and then 1T of PB on a 1/2 a banana at snack and call it one protein. haven't had any problems yet.

I'd like to hear more about the cookies too.. could you send me a webcam photo of one.. I'm starting to forget what a cookie looks like??
No worries Nisha...Smarties have been known to come out of dark corners in this house and fly straight into my mouth.. then expand in my stomach to 4 times their original size resulting in an overnight 4lb gain on the sclae!
Get back POP.. Megan will tell you that the power of Doritos can be beaten and you can go on to lose from there
