Hello ladies...

Wanted to pop in and let you all know that we're moving! Got our key today...did some cleaning already and will spend the weekend moving.

So I'll be busy all weekend with that and as soon as I get computer hooked up there....I'll be back on. And I'll let you all know the new address and all that jazz when I'm settled in.

Wish me luck that I don't go crazy!

hello everyone!

We had to go and get some things recertified for the kids and myself. So, they had to get weighed and every thing. Brandon is 35 ½ inches tall and weighs 31 ¾ lbs. Logan is 31 inches tall and weighs 24lbs. 6oz. Logan had to get his heel pricked for the lead test and Brandon had to get his booster for Hepatitis A. Logan will get his booster when we have to go back in after Marissa is born.

Jane~ If she is getting as annoyed with the contractions like I am, then I hope the baby comes early for her. We had pizza for dinner tonight so I hope that helps bring on things. Tommy went after work on Friday and bought a travel system, so now little Marissa is okay to arrive since we have a car seat now. Tommy has this weekend off, but he will have to work next weekend, he hopes just next Saturday since Brandon’s birthday party is the next day. So, he is hoping that she comes this weekend so he can have a longer weekend. He is cleared for three days off when she arrives, but he thinks he will only take two days since it is unpaid and a 40 hour check is better then a 30 hour check, especially after they take taxes, insurance, and his 401k out.

Amy~ that sounds great girl! Keep up the motivation!!

Jodi~ Congratulations on getting the job!!!!!! I am hoping for smooth sailing. I am about ready to go and try out the “trick” to see if it will motivate her to arrive. I am so ready to be done with being pregnant. My sister asked me a couple weeks ago if I was ready to be done with being pregnant and I said yeah. She says “well, heck you have been pregnant for the past four years basically.” Which after she mentioned it, well, it is true. Brandon was conceived in July of 2003 and born in April of 2004. Logan was conceived in January of 2005 and born in October of 2005. And here little Marissa was conceived in July of 2006 and will be born (hopefully) in April (soon!!!) of 2007. So, I am beyond done with being pregnant.

Pink Jane~ I am glad to hear that the snow is gone. The phrase “no pain, no gain” comes to mind when I read about your muscles screamin’ at you, but you had no gain on the scale. Great job! That sounds like me……here I am sure I sound like I am already over due and I am so ready for it to be over. But I will be 38 weeks on Monday, which the doctor came out and told me that if she comes now, they won’t stop her. So, maybe that has a little bit to do with the motivation.

Sue~ sounds like you had a great day in talking with your kids. Great job on the walking! I need to get walking maybe that will bring her down some. My MIL told me that she talked to my SIL, and when my SIL was pregnant with her daughter, they let her dilate to 3cm and then shipped her to the hospital because her feet were swelling. Here I am sitting at 2cm and my feet have been swelling. She said that they told her that her daughter was high up as well, but as soon as (I think) they broke her water, she was down in no time.

Cristina~ I am hoping that she decides to arrive soon……like any time now. I am getting tired of having to pull on my pant legs just to lift my leg to put my socks on.

Marti~ Congratulations on the house!!!!!!!

Just a quickie here!!

I'm having a "Ladie's Only" party tonight. Ya'll know what I'm talking about !! My poor dh will be banned to the basement or bedroom with the dogs. Except for the fruit salad that I will be serving tonight, nothing else is really low cal. But I'm probably the only one that is trying to watch what I eat. I had my sidelight windows replaced yesterday with decorative glass and have to repaint the inside door frame before the party tonight. No time for many individuals but wanted to congrat Jodi on her new job. Welcome to Patricia!! Marti--I'm so excited for you for moving into your new home!! Ok, I gotta get painting and then make Paula Deen's brownie banana split pizza!! I know....totally not on any program Wish you all were coming to my party tonight!! Have a wonderful weekend ladies!!

Mindee...have Tommy put your socks on for you!!!

OMG>>>How decadent does brownie banana split pizza sound? I just love Paula Dean...now does that lady use butter. I even saw someone showing her how to deep fry butter....say what???

Another dreary day here and high of 37 degrees. Just hope we don't get the snow they are predicting. I have a baby shower to go to later...right across the street. so if it snows I think I can make it.

Marti- Wow...that was fast and I hope the moving goes as fast and smoothly for you. I am sure you will love your own house...and find plenty to do to stay busy.

Tammy- Enjoy the party...sounds like fun. I bet your sidelights are beautiful. We didn't have room for sidelights on our front door, so I settled for an oval beveled glass in the door. Love it when the sun shines in and creates prisms on the walls. (How easy am I to entertain?)

Mindee- I do love talking to my young'uns. Just wish they were all near-by, but, oh well, they have to live their lives...I lived mine. DS called again last evening to talk to DH about a used car he is thinking of buying. So, no matter how far away they still want Dad or Mom's in-put. Put your feet up girlie....yeah, right with two little rug-rats running around. Well, TRY anyway.

Cristina- Do hope you get feeling better. I just talked to a friend who is getting over a sinus, allergy thing and she sounded so bad. I told her I am glad I didn't hear how bad she sounded BEFORE she started getting over it.

Jodi- Way to go on the new job. Is it full time or part time? Remind me what you did before...what job you are quitting? Did you do merchandising? Anyway, I am sure you can learn the new job and be a whiz!

Pink Jane- I bet you were in a panic wondering if you were going to get the paycheck deposited. Wouldn't be fun to have to wait for a new card to be able to access the money. Whew! You are doing so well on your treadmill.....keep it up.

Amy- Way to go also.....keep up the good work. I am getting frustrated with myself as I know what I need to do and I just get lax. I still think if this weather would ever "sun" up I would exercise more....(just what I need, another excuse!)

Jane- Tell me more about the srapbooking group...sounds like fun. I am still planning to take up scrapbooking and card making THIS YEAR. After landscaping and house decorating...which is going slowly. You will have a new "grand" before you know it.....give Jackson lots of kisses from the JL's.

My DH has been sawing and hammering in the workshop for over a week. He is at his happiest. SO far he made a beautiful wall rack with hooks for jackets and keys...for beside the back door. He is about 1/2 finished with his cabinets to organize his shop. I tell you he is going to have a showplace out there. He has a mini fridge and a t.v. plus a bookshelf for woodworking books and a break table area with 2 stools. He often will sit there to plan out his projects, so he has all of his drafting things, pencils, etc. right there too. That man is so organized. I joked and asked him where he was putting his bed....

HAve a wonderful Sat. ladies and to all I missed today I am thinking of you all.

Hiya Ladies

SUE...sounds like DH will have a beautiful place to get away to, lol. V gets the third garage for his self and he can't wait to start getting it organized. It will be awhile though...we have to slowly get the stuff out of storage first. You are still doing great with the biking and walking...keep it up!

SASSY...funny about FIL and flirting with the nurses, lol. Just glad to hear he is doing better. And I hope your MIL gets better. Lots of hugs I've not tried the alavert but I am willing to try anything at this point because what I am taking is not working!

PINKJANE...well, I am glad you got things squared away at the bank and with the card. Lucky, too that the card didn't fall into the wrong hands.

MINDEE...the boys are definitely getting bigger. You need to post some recent pictures of the cuties!

MARTI...it amazes me that so many people now days are wanting a very fast closing. A 2 week closing seems to be very common these days. The people that bought our house orignally wanted a 2 week but kittyfooted around with the paperwork too long had to move it to a 3 week closing. And it came fast! Hope you guys were ready for the fast move and I know you guys are excited! We want details missy, and pictures. Anyway, hope you guys have a fun and quick move! I am very happy for you, James & Jhanai :congrats: again!

TAMMY...I was going to say "Have fun" but I know that is a given at those parties, lol!

Hi JANE, MICHELLE, TINA, MARYKATE, JUDY, 4AMY, VANN, JODI & anyone I missed! (Can't keep track of everyone)

Not much going on with me today. Went and picked up a couple of things at Michaels this morning before meeting V for lunch. Now I get to spend the rest of the day cleaning and doing laundry, aren't I special, lol.

Still not feeling up to exercising and my eating has been horrible! But feeling a little better. Hoping to get back on track with the exercise by Monday.

Take care ladies and I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

Hi ladies,

I had so much fun at the scrapbooking party last night! One of the gals used to be a dealer for one of the scrapbooking companies, and has every kind of supplies you could think of! We all took a sack supper, then got down to business, and the fellowship was awesome!

Today was Gina's baby shower, and I have to say little Jackson is going to be a decked-out little fella! He even got the cutest St. Louis Cardinal's itty bitty outfit, and a teeny tiny Cardinal's ball cap to go with it. So cute! (Terry is a big Cardinal's fan, and has a brick with his -and Neal's- name on it in the sidewalk of the new stadium.)

Mary's girls didn't get to go to the shower since they have colds, and I felt bad about that, so I went to wally world and bought the coolest paper doll set for them to cut out and play with. They'll be here in a little while, and we'll have fun! The set came with 4 paper dolls - one for each of them and one for Grandma, lol!

Gotta run! Have a good weekend!

Didn't get but .5 of a mile in today. It was raining all day and I barely got the dog out to do her thing. Finally let up and I got all ready to walk, got around the corner and it started SLEETING and was pelting me HARD. I just came in and said to h*** with it for the day. So, I was just lazy as can be.....this was after the baby shower.
Tomorrow is another day and hopefully it won't rain or sleet......or (again hopefully) if it does I can get up enough energy to do WATP.

Tata for now chickies.....

Hello ladies.....how are you all doing?

well, we should be getting some where soon. we went and did some walking around to see if that would help things out, it did to some extent, cause I was having some contractions. then we threw caution to the wind and tried "the trick" and it seems to be working some what. I have been having some more contractions. so we shall see is Marissa takes the hint or not.

Tommy actually had a meeting for his lodge on Saturday, so me and the boys were here at home. we all ended up laying down and taking naps after I got them out of the bath tub. Logan fell asleep in his bed, and me and Brandon fell asleep on the couch. my feet haven't been as swollen today that I have noticed, but I did also take a nap with them resting on the foot stool.

Cristina~ I will have to find some recent pictures of them to post for your enjoyment. I will get those on as soon as I can. here are some pics of them from a couple weeks ago.

Hi ladies,

Marti - I bet you're busier than a one-armed paperhanger right about now, lol. How exciting to be moving into a new place.

Mindee - the kids are so cute! Did "The trick" work? Not that I expect you to let us know from the labor room, lol. Mary and Dale used the same trick to get Caylin, but it was a few days past her due date.

Tammy - yep, your Ladies Only party sounds like lots of fun. Like you said, I wish all the JLs could've been there, too.

Sue - scrapbooking is a lot of fun! Start now by making doubles of photos that are the cutest when you get them developed. Then toss them in a folder for when you get time to go to a crop. (scrapbooking meet)

Cristina - are you getting things all put away now? What kind of comforter did you end up getting for your bedroom after the cleaners ruined yours?

Sassy - I hope you got to visit with your fil today.

PinkJane - yowza, I wish it was t-shirt weather here. It's been cold, windy, and rainy, but warmer weather is on it's way. I chunk up chicken breasts in a salad too, and add mandarin oranges, dried cranberries, walnuts, cukes, and lot of chunked tomatoes. Makes a great meal.

Julie, Julie Julie - where are ya? Yes I know the words are supposed to be Do ya love me, but then people would wonder what we're up too, lol.

Mary Kate - don't make me come out there!

Vann - what'cha up to?

Hello to everyone else.

My BIL got released from the hospital today, and has to be checked again in 6 weeks to see if his heartbeat has been regulated.

Neal and I are headed to to Wally World, then to karaoke. My sister wants me to sing Do That to me One More Time but I don't think have the nerve yet.

Toodles!

Default Hey

I've been feeling outta the loop a bit lately. Sorry I haven't been posting much. I got back and then it was my 21 year anniversary...(I don't feel old enough to be married that long...) And we took the convertable to a casino and had a nice steak dinner (well I had salmon) and we won 600 bucks over the amount we brought with. So I was so very happy.
I'm on day 5 of my hormone therapy. I feel good. And my scale HAS gone down about 2.5 pounds. So far so good. I also go a bouncer (small trampoline thingy) to exercise on. The nutritionist thought it'd be good for my circulation with my foot. I go back in June. So I hope to have made a good loss in between now and my next visit.

Mindee - you have adorable boys! wow! Thanks for posting the pics.

Sue - It rained here too yesterday. And today it's soooo windy. brrrr! I still need to get on that new bouncer I got.

PinkJane - you sound so motivated. Exercising and eating right...that's great. Keep it up! I know about the taxi driver stuff. I have 3 teens at home and only one with a license...psh.

Jane you sound like such a great grandma.

Marti - congrats on getting the key! Yeah! Very exciting.

Everyone else...i'll try to be better with the posting.

Another fly-by here. I walked 2 miles today...plus a little more with taking the dog on top of the 2. For some reason she wanted to walk extra today. (wonder if she understands when I tell her Mom will be back tomorrow?) It was 47 this morning, but up to 54 and sunny later. Still windy however. Didn't snack tonight...which had been a bad habit the last few nights....ugh! I don't even want to weigh in tomorrow.
Have a good week everyone.

I walked 10.5 but it put it in as 110.5 if I tried to go over the 10. Ha...110.5, I wish.
