Also known as the Valentines Day to Easter Challenge.
OK, have I mentioned that I'm back in the ballgame? So much so, in fact, that I've been thinking of what I can do by Easter.
From February 14, Valentines Day, to March 31, Easter, is 45 days. And since Lent started around the same time as Valentines Day and I've given up my beloved sweets and desserts for Lent, I've decided that should help my Easter goal. So here's the deal.
I want to lose 10 lbs. by Easter. Now, given my track record, that may or may not be an achievable goal. So I've calculated and figured and charted and have decided to make my goal 7 to 10 lbs. by Easter. Hopefully, this thread will stay alive and maybe as Easter gets closer, I can fine-tune it a little?
So what do you guys say? Anyone out there up for a challenge? I know I really really need to challenge myself. Maybe some of you do too???
I'm with you, Jo. I figure about 6 1/2 weeks to Easter. My goal for this time is to reach goal - 120 pounds. That means from today until April 1, I will need to lose 11 pounds.
Here's the starting stats:

I'll join the challenge. I'd like to lose 10 lbs. by Easter. We are going to Pensacola, FL, the first weekend in April for my son's graduation from Navy flight school. He's training to be a flight surgeon. It would be great to be 10 lbs. lighter when I put on those shorts in Florida. I'll post my progress weekly.

Good idea for this next challenge. I like the idea of having one from Valentines day to Easter. That's using the old noodle. LOL
Anyways I want in on this one. Let's see I think 7 lbs for me would be reasonable. That is about a pound and something a week, which would be nice. If I do 10 lbs that would be at least 2 lbs a week and sometimes more, which for me would be hard I think.
So 7 lbs by the end of Febuary it is. Any other takers? Come on everyone sign up with us and let's all help each other get to where we want to be. Keep on posting too and let the rest of us know how things are going for you.

Hello everyone. It has been a while AGAIN since I was here last. I have a hard time getting on the computer. My schudel is making it hard. I work at night and by the time I get home I don't feel like doing much of anything. During the day I don't get on because we have only one phone line and my mom has been in the hospital and my dad gets upset when he calls and can't find me. They live in Mo and I am in GA. I call them several times aweek but I guess dad just gets scared. So I am going to quit making excuses and start trying to get on here at least once a week after work. I hope it is okay to come back again! Well, I will come back later. The kids are gone and my husband wants sometime for him so will talk later. Mary Kay
Count me in too! I've done so badly in Jan. and Feb. that I want to lose 7 lb. by Easter Sunday. Today is Sat., Feb. 23 that gives me 36 days. With my past history 7 lbs. would be wonderful!
The week before Easter I will be in Florida, that means grilled fish everyday. YIPPEE!!!!! Good luck everyone.
