Surprise.. I'm here.. on this thread! I opened up my new Yoga: Just my size this morning. I got about 75% through it. Then my smart a$$ 7 year old daughter came in laughing saying she had to find a camera. That didn't help. I'll do it again tomorrow.
I fogot how tough yoga is... or maybe just how out of shape I am!!

charbar, yoga IS tough!

Today I ran 5 miles and it was HARD, but I still did it. I actually did the self-talk thing, telling myself "you can do this" and "push yourself" and "you're defining yourself right now" and things like that. Whatever -- it worked!!

Yay Charbar! That first time is always the hardest.

Today I walked outside. It was so beautiful I just had to. I don't know how many miles I walked, but I walked for an hour and burned 519 calories.

6km run/walk - I beat my time by 2 minutes! So in the last week I've gone from 1 hour and 20 minutes down to 56 minutes It was REALLY hard - Lisa I did the same self talk.. mine involved "just run to those next trees, to the next stairs, to the top of the stairs, well that that you are up the stairs just go a little further". heh. It works!

I have no idea how I would count this - but I just spent 1.5 hours out in my yard - digging up dirt, pulling tree roots, raking up dead grass areas and planting new grass. I was definitely sweating and feeling my muscles.

Just did TJ Cardio Party Mix 1. 43 minutes, 461 calories. Glad I did it since I didn't do anything yesterday. I refuse to take more than one day off, because one day will lead to two, then a week, then another year. LOL.

I know what you mean, Tiff. I'd be afraid to take two consecutive rest days unless I was sick or something. I'm addicted to exercise now, but I know how easy it is to go back to my old ways!

Today I did a 45 minute step aerobics class that was lots of fun, and it was immediately followed by a 60 minute bodysculpting class. I worked hard!

My body is aching all over, but I walked for 1 hour and 5 minutes, my same 6km route.

Soon I won't be able to do it alone, the bears will be waking up and looking for food.. and hopefully NOT in the form of ME! Its SUCH a great workout, with stairs, LOTS of hills, LOTS of stairs, omg.. but I'm a sucker for hard work.

Tiffany - I am picking up Turbo Jam on tomorrow, I am pretty excited. Have you (or anyone) tried the hip hop abs? I am really trying to get a smaller waist!

Hey Aimee... I haven't tried Hip Hop Abs. It looks fun though. I'm still deciding if I want to get that one next, or another set from Turbo Jam.

Tiffany - I think I'm going to try and convince the manager of the section who orders videos to bring in HipHop Abs, so if I get it before you, I'll be sure to post how it goes!

I did my regular 6km route - it was SO hot out, and my face is STILL super red from it - and I finished an hour ago! I find it SO embarrassing that my face gets so red, people are always staring.. I try to remind myself that at least I am getting a good workout and it SHOWS! But that doesn't always help so much. I was almost tempted to wear makeup when exercising to cover it up.. heh..

Aimee - I also get red faced.... so unattractive. How do people exercise without looking like a beet? I don't understand it.

I did sprints in the pool last night. I NEVER do sprints. Ever! I did 10x100M sprints. I thought I was going to die after each one. Hee!

Aimee, I'm visualizing the sweat making lines in the make-up you're using to cover up the red face! Another red-faced person here, too. So much so that the staff often ask if I'm okay. Today, an older woman I chat with frequently came up to me on the elliptical and asked me if I was okay because I was moving my mouth funny. How embarassing! Actually, I think it's because I'd forgotten my handkerchief and was sniffing a lot, trying not to let my nose run. Although, hey, maybe I just look weird when I exercise!
