Smile A lil old school for ya...

Do you remember Ants on a Log? I was reading this magazine and they had an article about healthy kids snacks and they had the ol' celery filled with peanut butter and topped with raisins! I haven't had those since I was in kindergarten. I remember they were really good though even though I've always hated celery and peanut butter. I think I'm going to go make some now.

I love those! Very tasty. Celery's such a good space holder...more calories for peanut butter!!

That sounds... Bizzare! I might try them if I ever buy celery!

My DD loves those. Don't put too many "ants" on there, though. They add up quickly calorie-wise.

I have these regularly! I also sometimes dip carrots in peanut butter.

I had these when I was a kid too....after school, my mother left them wrapped in the fridge (she was a working mom, leaving me to be tortured by my older brother)

I still love celery.....mostly in a Bloody Mary......

I make these for my siblings all the time. They like them without raisins though. I like em with. Also dipping carrot sticks, apple slices, strawberries, bananas, or any fruit really in PB is awesome.

Haha I remember making those before too -- except I just make a "log" since I HATE raisins.

I love them and so do my kids.

A chef on Iron Chef America made some the other night. The secret ingredient was peanuts/peanut butter. Of course hers were gourmet ones complete with celery foam.
