Default What are you craving??????????

Right this minute I am having a craving for a Chilli Cheese Coney. I have always had a love for hot dogs but since I changed the way I eat about 11 months ago I have done without. The hardest part of fighting the craving this time is that I have been on a plateau for about 2 months. Haven't dropped a single pound since Christmas. So that little devil that sits on my shoulder is saying "what the heck, have a hot dog, its not like you are loosing anyway."

So what are you craving?

I'm actually craving my afternoon snack that I'll eat as soon as I get back from picking up DS from school and dropping him off at home. It's a lovely Laughing Cow cheese with 6 low fat Triscuits. I always crave cheese.

Well now that you mention it - those mini Reeces peanut butter cups that are sitting in a pretty heart shaped box (valentine's day stuff) on my daughter's dresser. But it's not too bad, I've got it in check. I told her that the next time she does have one, could she please save me a teeny, tiny bite. I'm thinking I'm probably better off without the bite. It might make me want more.

I'm very fortunate lately that like Alinnell, the things I've been craving lately have been my planned meals and snacks.

RRV, have you tried the Hebrew National 97% fat free hot dogs? They have only 50 calories, so even with a hot dog roll (usually they're about 110 calories), you're only at 160 calories in total. I make these for myself while skinny DH gets the full fat ones at 150 calories per dog, total of 260 cal w/ the roll.

Yep, those lettuce wraps are good. Just be careful if you add their hot sauce to them--they get kindof drippy and the orange-red oil can really make a mess on your pants! DH took me there a couple years ago and I was wearing my white pants.....big blotch on one thigh! It just missed my napkin!

I am currently craving dark chocolate...and Ben & Jerry's ice cream-namely their Dublin Mudslide flavor (Irish Cream liquor, coffee, and chocolate). How can you go wrong with something that tastes like coffee, chocolate, and booze???

Don't even need the sauce Allison, at our dinner table Angie gives everyone a napkin...'cept me....she just throws a bath towel at me!

I want a Chinese Buffett...crab rangoon, sweet and sour chicken, an eggroll, some Chicke Lo Mein, the little doughnuts........YUMMY, but the way it makes me retain water I'd lose 2 weeks of progress in one meal!

Chocolate chip cookies. The kids and DH just got through eating warm chocolate chip cookies. There is an entire stinkin' tub of the cookie dough sitting in the refrigerator. I HATE cookie dough fundraisers.
