Default Sites for Scrapbooking?

Can anyone recommend some good sites that teach about scrapbooking? I think it'd be a great way to send thoughful gifts to family who live far away. Thanks.

I'd love to know too, I have purchased all of the scrapbooking tools and things, I just need to figure out how to use them.
Hopefully someone knows.

Sorry I don't know any sites, but a great way to learn would be to go to a "crop." Scrapbook shops sponsor them and so do the chicks who sell Creative Memories. This isn't a plug for the latter, either, as I'm not a fan of their albums personally (I prefer post-bound), just, well, they're there and they're nice.

Someday I may finish the album I've been working on for five years and begin a new one!

there's a cute site with tons of ideas that people submit called
www.twopeasinabucket.com

Just click on the "peanut gallery" on the left side.

I'm not sure how much "how to" they have but when people submit their pages they explain what materials they used.

Hope this helps some!

Just google scrapbooking and you will find lot's.

There's a few I frequent but offhand can't think of the names, twopeasinabucket is one of them. I also have a subcription to Creative Memories and Simple something, ugh. Can't even remember the magazine...I have them but they are packed as we are getting ready to move. I use them a lot for inspiration and ideas. Also, just thought of HGTV, has a section for scrapbooking.

Good luck and watch out it is addicting, and can be expensive. But at the same time it is fun and a GREAT gift for others.

The best (IMHO) scrapbooking and cardmaking site on the web is www.splitcoaststampers.com

There's tons of advice, super friendly people, and a bajillion wonderful ideas and techniques to try out!
