I'm just about 4 pounds away from my ultimate goal now--I'm down to 139 and a size 6 from 168 and a size 12. Compared to some of the amazing achievements I've seen around here, that's not all that impressive, but I'm excited about getting my blood pressure down and no longer being at such a high risk health-wise. I also quit smoking, so I'm breathing better and my skin has cleared up too. So I thought I'd post some face shots for comparison. The first one was taken last October, at my highest weight, and the second one was taken just a few weeks ago. This is the first time I've compared them side by side--I was surprised by the difference!

. I'm actually thinking I might stick at my current weight now--I'm actively training for a 4-day backpacking trip and building a lot of muscle, so the scale is getting tricky. We'll see!
Well done on the weight loss you look wonderful. Congratulations on giving up cigarettes that is some acheivement in itself. You have taken great strides in taking your health in hand and now you look forward to a healthier future. Way to go
