Question Need help urgently...

My stomach is making these most wierd noises (almost like growls and they are loud) since yesterday. I feel my stomach and intestines ar filled with gas...I am not hungry or did not eat anything unhealthy...just regular fruits, veggies, rice, lactaid milk etc.(no beans) like everyday...nothing unsual really. I am a vegetarian.

I am worried because I have a practical exam of 8 hours tomorrow and will be dealing with people one-to-one! I do not want to feel embarrased during my exam

So can someone plz suggest any remedies to temporarily stop this problem? Will charcocaps help? will metamucil help? any other suggestions? I am very nervous about this exam and this stomach thing is making the stress worse

Ooh, that's a tough situation. I remember seeing commericals for a product called Beano. Their tagline was something like, "If you take Beano, there will be no gas." I've never taken it, but I imagine something like that could work. You could also google it and check out other diet supplement options that might help. Good luck, and try to relax.

Gas-X works great to get rid of existing gas. It's a regular OTC medication though, so I'm not sure about gelatins or anything that may be involved in making it...

On a side note, Lactaid milk actually was worse on my stomach than regular milk, and I'm lactose intolerant so I thought it'd be okay. It really a lot wasn't.
