Thumbs up The Mini-Goal I never set

I didn't set mini-goals until yesterday when I got to one. I did a mid-week weigh in for fun, I usually do my weigh ins on Sunday. I am now 170. I'm not going to change my ticker cuz I know how much my weight fluctuates, and I don't want to jinx it! I haven't been this light since I was pregnant with DD#1 2 years ago. I gained all my weight with her, 60lbs! Then I didn't loose it before I got pregnant again. DD#2 is a month and a half. It's coming off so much faster this time around.

My reward, a new sports bra to keep my deflated balloons of nursing breasts from going all over while I run. I get to go shopping this weekend!!!!

My next mini-goal is 160. That's the heaviest I was before getting pregnant.

Great job! It is always fun and motivating to reward yourself with a little shopping. Just don't buy too much because pretty soon you will need another smaller size. Keep up your good work!

Change the ticker!!!! I fluctuate a lot too, but as long as I am staying on program, I record all new lows and ignore the rest. I figure the rest is just water, so lows are as accurate as anything--if I've never been 163 before, then it must reflect a real loss.

It's still off as of this morning. I can't believe it. I hope I don't gain it back next week. I'm feeling pretty weak with food right now. I'm happy about the weight loss, but I'm so freakin hungry . . . I think it's time for a 'controlled binge'.

Yeah I had a binge today. Got a *grilled* chicken sandwich. But then I got french fries with it. Bad Michelle. I really needed it though. I know you aren't supposed to reward yourself with food, but it wasn't a reward I swear. I should still be at a decent level for calories for the day, just a little high on fat and calories for one meal.

I still haven't gotten my bra. I went to Foot Locker, but no dice on a good one. I'll try Dick's later. I did get a new set of headphones and an extension so I can watch TV over the elliptical now.

I've been slacking on my workouts, but I've lost another 2lbs. I was sick last week, so I didn't work out as much as I should have. And the holidays were rough. I've been a little depressed too. DH hasn't been calling/emailing like he used to so I get worried. I know working out will help me, but it's hard to get motivated to get on the elliptical. Both girls are down for a nap now though, so I'm headed down. Just had to check Calorieking.com for dinner quick, and update my miles ticker, but now I'm out!!

Oh yeah, when I get to 165 I'm going shopping for new jeans. My current ones are a bit big. When I bought them they were tight and size 18, I'm now a 14. We'll see what size I am at 165. I know it's only 3lbs, but I could be a 12 by then! I'll probably buy 12's anyway, give me something to work towards. It does feel good, no GREAT to have an 18 be so big!!!

Good for you for hitting that milestone, Pockets! Keep up the awesome work!

As for the sports bra, if you haven't found one yet check out Victoria's Secret....they have one called the Shock Absorber that is fantastic! Good luck on the search!
