Default Help! Dryer sheet melted onto bedroom dresser!

A little while ago, I left a dryer fabric softener sheet on top of a dresser in my bedroom. Apparently, it was a sunny day, and the dryer sheet kind of melted onto the furniture. The furniture made from stained wood. Now there is white stuff with a dryer sheet pattern stuck to the furniture, and I don't know how to remove it. I'm afraid that whatever I might use might get rid of the stain on the wood as well? Anyone know what to do? Help!

Maybe the "how to remove wax from _____" will help.
