Default Whole foods menu 9-25

Well, all the hassle of moving is over and I actually went to the grocery store and planned for the week again. I did pretty well during the churn, but I am happy to be back into a routine.

B - 2 pieces of sprouted, 20 grain toast, natural peanut butter

S - 6 oz raspberries

L - big salad with romaine (want spinach back!!), grape tomatoes, red pepper, dried cranberries, turkey, carrots, low fat balsalmic vinaigrette dressing

S - tall non fat sugar free latte

S - tangelo

S - cut up veggies (baby carrots, grape tomatoes, sugar snap peas, red pepper strips)

D - home made pasta sauce (tomatoes, sun dried tomatoes, veggie crumbles, mushrooms, fresh basil, red cooking wine) over whole wheat pasta

Glory, glad things are back on an even keel.

B-2eggs, 1 pc canadian bacon, blueberries (again, I whine for my spinach)
S-ff/sf latte
L-romaine salad w/tomato, pepper, onion, black olives, sprinkle of feta, bowl lentil soup
S-baked plain apple, yogurt
D-chicken breast stir fry, brown rice, ff/sf pudding
S-tea, dark chocolate
I may add some dried apricots and walnuts if calories allow after my yoga session.

I want spinach so badly I am almost in tears. I love to wilt spinach into my home made pasta sauce, it will not be the same! Oooh, maybe I should defrost a package of frozen?

I'm missing spinach too, since my homegrown is now gone (or frozen).

B'fast:
cheerios w/1%milk, walnuts
1/2 ww bagel w/natural pb

Snack:
hb egg

L:
trying a package Pad Thai, that's reasonable calorie wise. We'll see about the taste.

S:
apple

D:
?? Chicken stir fry I think. DH brought grouse home on Sat and we ended up having that Sat and Sun (they're about the size of a game hen - darker meat though - and you eat just the breast. Very lean)

I've been MIA for a bit. Right now, I'm doing the best I can but am eating a lot of leftover birthday cake and ice cream from DD's 1st birthday party. I'm down to two houseguests, and we had broccoli for dinner tonight. And I ordered a turkey on whole wheat w/ vegetable soup today at lunch. Working on getting back to more healthy foods in the next couple days.

Pitch it, your 1 year old won't miss it and you don't need it around. If a houseguest asks, say "oops, dropped it."

Cake is one thing I never have a problem with. If my DH is not around, it'd mold before I finished it! Wish I had that problem with lots of other foods.

Today ended up weird. The Thai noodle dish was so-so, I ate about 3/4 of it, but I won't be getting it again. Then I got called to sit in on an interview and never ate my afternoon snack. I went through an "I'm starving" period on the way to the gym, but it was gone when I got home. There I found that my DH had gone out to something with one of his buddies. Ended up having ww pasta with a lf marinara sauce for a quick dinner, and I still wasn't very hungry so had a small serving. He'll get leftovers if he hasn't eaten by the time he gets home!
