Default Things that annoy you about being chubby

People poking me in the belly and/or saying "oh, you have a tummy". Thanks for stating the obvious. Yes, I know I have a tummy. Argh!

Trying to find clothes that aren't hideous.

If someone poked me, they'd get a poke right back.

Being put beside your thinnest cousin in the family picture at the reunion to balance the picture.

It was annoying to me that my shoes were tied on the side.
The "pretty face" comments used to really get me mad.
Being asked "when's the baby due" when I wasn't pregnant.
Grunting when I'd get up or down.
Trying to find something to scratch my back with.

Please tell me that didn't really happen. That sounds like a bad joke.

Not being able to cut my toenails easily. I used to dread it, hate it, all that red faced, out of breathing, huffing and puffing. Now it's a breeze. Finding clothes. Lane Bryant was too hoochie momma for me (I'm a modest person and there was no way I was going to wear plunging necklines or sleeveless, no matter how attractive it looks on other people). Not able to wear a skirt because my thighs would chafe and it would be so painful.

Jeans crawling up various parts of my anatomy ... itchy sweaty bra band rash ... having a ring cut off my fat finger ...

Imagine what a nightmare bra shopping is when you're a 42DDD

Other annoyances:
  • Getting the door shut in public restroom stalls without climbing on top of the toilet
  • Having people check out the contents of your shopping cart at the grocery store to see what you eat that made you so fat
  • Shopping for jeans that actually have a waist in them (yes, dear Clothing Designer, some fat people do have one) and are NOT stretchy
  • Hearing people ask your boyfriend, "Oh, is that your mother?"
  • Not being able to sit with your legs crossed
  • Going to a new doctor and having them assume just from looking at you that you sit on your behind all day and stuff your face with junk food

having pudgy tummy rolls that stick out of your waistline in pants/jeans/skirts. I think this is called muffintop??

Wearing a skirt that makes my knees down look like toothpicks and make me feel like I'm wearing a tent. Still don't feel 100% wearing skirts but not as bad as I used to feel...

Claiming shyness on the dance floor when I was really afraid that my fat would fly out all over the place. Yeah. Missed out on some fun times being puffy.

All of the above and... Taking up so much space that you don't realize your hips or boobs are in the way as much as they are and bumping into things and knocking things over.. makes you look like the worlds biggest clutz. And when sitting in chairs your fat seeps through the sides of the chair.. And getting in and out of the car without getting your a** stuck between the seat and the steering wheel. And on the whole bra shopping thing.. yah 44E here.

LOL, Bra shopping at 36DDD is worse than it was at 40DD!!! I am getting smaller and wearing a size 8 in jeans now but my bra size while going down in band size seems to be increasing in cup size. I was fortunate to find 2 bras in this size last week at Kohls. Most stores stop at a DD.

Hmmmmm I agree with most all the comments above.......

Some of mine are:

Looks of Disgust by people in public

Little kids running up to you and screaming, "Your Fat!"

Also don't know if this happens with your boyfriends/husbands/signicant others but I find that men are cruel to each other! My husband's "Friends" at work are always making rude comments to him about his weight. He says nothing! I would be mortified! Infact its makes me feel very uncomfortable!

Saying prayers before sitting in chairs that don't look like they will hold you

Being crushed when you cannot find something that you want in YOUR size!

People who move like 10 ft out of the way when I come walking their way. I'm big but come on its not like your going to get fat by being near me!!!!!!

I guess I better stop! lollllllll.
