Default OK, this has to be a real good way to start all over....

OK, this is my 300th time of saying I'm getting healthy and the 299th time that I fail and need to start all over again.

This time is different, see I started taking care of my food intake before even noticing I was doing it, then I registered to a 2 days-a-week aqua-exercise class that starts on September 18th till mid-December. I registered my niece to her first swimming class and vowed to attend every second week since her mom is working too late to make it to the course.

I know that I can lose alot of weight in that class since I did it once , loved it and lost alot of weight doing so, but I left the class after my partner hated it and quit.

This time is different since I am not waiting for someone to hold my hand, I'll do it on my own.

This time is different since I want to make it happen.

This time is different since I want to be healthy.

This time is different since...it feels different.

My first mini goal is to lose at least 5lbs by September 29th. It's our girls weekend away and we are going to New York, NY for a shopping , site seeing and dinning adventure. I would love to feel like I can follow and I can actualy fit in some of the clothes without having to wear a size bigger than 2-3X.

It looks like you are doing great with the weight loss. WTG on the new attitude. Have fun in the aqua classes, I personally loved them and they do help so much.

Your new attitude sounds great! My only caution would be to not focus too much on what happens to the scale between now and then. You can control our behaviors, but you can't control what the scale does! It is and fickle and has grounded many an optimistic dieter when they do everything right and the scale doesn't move!

Good luck!!! Getting back in the groove is a good thing!

It's a million little actions - joining a class, taking care of food intake, adding more vegetables, parking in the last spot in a parking lot - that get you to goal, and I'm guessing that it was a million little actions that got you from 315 to 253!

I'm kind of in the same boat. Lost a good amount of weight, but got off track last week or so with some shifts in my schedule and living situation. Someone needs to give me the Swift Kick in the Rear.
